Collection O Market Road Ernakulam Formerly Blue Diamond — Hotel in Kerala

We recently booked a room at Hotel Blue Diamond, Market Road, Ernakulam, and it turned out to be a highly disappointing experience. First of all, the hotel was extremely hard to locate as it is tucked away in a busy market area with no clear signage. The pictures shown online are completely misleading and do not reflect the reality of the rooms.

Upon entering the room, we noticed that the floor was filthy. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly in a long time. To make matters worse, the room was infested with cockroaches. We saw at least 8 cockroaches crawling around, including one in the attached photo. It was extremely unhygienic and uncomfortable to even sit in the room. We immediately reported the issue to the receptionist, but it took them over 30 minutes to send someone to check, and no proper action was taken after that.

Additionally, basic amenities like soap and towels were not provided. The window in the room was broken, so we didn't get proper cooling despite having a fan or AC. Even worse, the exhaust hole in the washroom had no glass or covering, meaning people from the opposite building could easily see inside, which made it extremely unsafe and uncomfortable to use the washroom.

The entire stay felt more like a cheap lodge than a proper hotel, and it is absolutely not suitable for couples or families. The place lacks safety, hygiene, and professionalism. Definitely not worth the money and I strongly do not recommend this...

Very bad service here.. Rooms are not maintained... I am a frequent user of this property. Recently i noticed very poor service and very arrogant staff here. Instead of my complaints regarding plumbing issues in toilet, same issue was there after one month in the same room. Miss Mithra is trying to handle things well. But, i observed every month, staff are changing and today what i faced here is very sad. Today 9 Aug 24, i reached hotel by 6.15am and asked room as i informed my arrival and timing to miss Mithra. The reception boy told me no room is booked and since it is early morning, he cannot get the room cleaned. Literally he was not ready to give me any room with an additional excuse of no water in the bathroom in that entire hotel. Since i was along with my wife and mom, i requested him any ac/non ac room, but he started avoiding us and lastly told me to get out. If you want room, there is room, but no water there. This was his statement and i am disappointed a lot. He shown me the reception number and told me you have to book through that number only, not through the manager Miss Mithra. He told me to get out of the reception as it is his property. What a rude behavior from a staff. Management never knows these issues.. Anyway, i had to go to another hotel. I will not go to this...

I recently stayed at the Blue Diamond Hotel and had a fantastic experience, thanks in large part to the wonderful hotel coordinator, Miss Mithra. From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

I was truly impressed by Miss Mithra's professionalism and dedication to ensuring that each guest had a positive experience at the hotel. Her attention to detail and personalized service made me feel valued and appreciated as a guest.

I would highly recommend the Blue Diamond Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay, and I believe that Miss Mithra sets a high standard for hospitality that everyone in the industry should strive to emulate.
