Sky Lounge Residency — Hotel in Kerala

Very bad experience at sky Lounge residency. This hotel is also known sky lounge regency on goibibo and make my trip. We stayed 26th night in rooms 103 and 101. We had a horrible experience, the list goes on and on.

They overcharged us. 6000 Rs per night (2 AC room). Online listings were less but we reached directly. I am pretty sure they will overcharge foreigners as well. Please be aware. We thought that the place is nice and clean only to be proven wrong later.

It was like living in a zoo. You will find spiders, lizards ants living with you. Ants on bed. Big red ants all over the floor. See pictures.

The door lock was broken.

Toilet seat was broken. (See picture attached) Couldn’t even sit on it, we four people had to use one toilet because the other one was not useable.

Each room for god knows what reason only has one single-bed blanket. We had to fight to get 2 more more single-bed blankets as they were saying, more were not available.

Even soaps were not in the rooms. We had to ask for them. It’s like living in a dharamshala, nothing is in place and you have to ask for everything.

On arrival, we were greeted by Nikhil who instantly radiated a calm and positive energy, with a friendly smile.

After showing us to our room, he even walked us to the main cliff area where the shops and beach access is which I felt was a really nice touch.

The room was a good size, clean and nicely presented. The main points for us is natural light, air-con and Wi-Fi and this place had all 3.

We loved this place so much we decided to extend our stay from 3 days to 3 weeks. We did a lot of research and the prices are reasonable compared to other hotels in the area.

Despite the odd noisy guest at the weekend, the accommodation is really quiet and peaceful, with hammocks to relax and there is even a small roof top area where you can practice yoga and meditation.
