Hotel Chivala Beach — Hotel in Maharashtra

The Hotel is located in Malvan area. The Chivala beach is just 2-3 minutes walking away. The hotel is having good staff who can guide you to come to hotel from the nearest railway station Kudal. The hotel gives complimentary tea bags, water bottle and towel. Ideally they shall also provide comb, tooth brush-paste and disposable shaving kit. The biggest positive point of hotel is it's location and cleanliness. Tourist are advised to wash the legs outside the hotel and thus it automatically also reduces your and hotels effort to keep it tidy. One of the things to not give five star is – absence of laundry. Ideally you can expect laundry in any big/medium hotel which is not available here. The staff could also provide/arrange for water sports activities like scuba, jet-ski, banana ride, para-sailing, etc. Ideally do the activity on Chivala beach instead of Dandi beach. The hotel does not permit drinking and smoking and thus its good sign for people coming with family. The hotel shall keep the new paper of English language also so that tourist who don’t understand Marathi/local language can read it. The hotel provides additional normal water in either 1 Lt jug or 5 lt jug. The eatery name is “Malvan Katta” which provides both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. The food quality was good and they would make the food as per your taste. i.e. spicy or sweet. The local malvani food was also being cooked upon advance notice. Horrible food and serving staff.. So I went here to celebrate a special occasion along with my family. I called them first to check the dinning availability and they said that everything is available. We went there and started ordering the food. 1- Paneer crispy- It was like a chewing gum, they dint even know that paneer becomes rubber if you cook them directly in the oil 2- Chicken soup- Chicken was not cooked properly.

Main course:

Paneer butter masala and mix veg sabji- Both were terrible-less quantity and high price. Poor test, they added something sweet in both the sabji which was horrible.

They had only one option of Chapati, no poori or Bhakari was available which was again a horrible thing.

Chicken koliwada- Chicken was uncooked, few people literally found fresh blood in the chicken.

Chicken masala- same story again

Chicken lolipop: same story again

so basically they dint know how to cook chicken. We went there somewhere around 8:30 PM the staff was tired and was not ready to serve anything to us. One of their staff was rude and literally throwing stuffs on us.

After this much of horrible things they were continuously asking how was the food maam? and please do visit us again... A big Joke....
