Hotel Mangal Residency Lonavala : Lonavala Hotels — Hotel in Maharashtra

I am writing this to you to make you aware of the very Rude & irresponsible behaviour of Mangal Residency staff. We have been asked to pay INR 500/- to confirm the booking, that we did on 11th Aug itself, just to confirm the booking. I have also confirmed with Mr Vishal from Parth Hospitality that we would reach there between 10:00 to 11:00 hrs & he was ok with that. Accordingly, we reached there around 10:15 hrs. The reception staff was not at all aware of our arrival. He seems to be drunk as he was unable to communicate properly & only kept on saying "I am new here". There I requested them for early check-in which was already confirmed with Mr. Vishal. But the reception staff denied it. Further to that, I had word with the Hotel manager, Mr Rajesh Panjabi, but instead of helping us, he started shouting at me on the phone. After several arguments, we were allowed to check-in at 11:45 hrs. But the experience was so horrible that we left the hotel on the same day ie 13th Aug at 18:00 hrs (Though it was booked until next day) as we were not finding ourselves comfortable over there & quit our further travel to Karla & Ekvira which was planned on next day &...

I stayed with my girlfriend. I had no issues and stay was very comfortable. It is 600 mtrs from Lonavala railway station and 100 mtrs to main road. No complaints about staff or the receptionist as I've seen in some reviews before booking. They were nice with us and helpful. Deluxe room size is ok, clean and neat. There is enough parking space for own vehicle. Lift isn't available. Amenities are fine.

I've to mention that the restaurant menu card available in room is the worst in service and food too. I really didn't remember the name but when I checked it has good rating and 1 km far from hotel. I ordered something they delivered something and too late around 2hrs. You have to followup with them for the delivery and updates. I lost my hunger before they delivered.

Zomato is available just go with Domino's or barbeque something it's my recommendation.

Auto rikshaw is better I don't recommend cab for tourism you'll stuck in traffic and the prices will be too high.

As per travel convince we booked this hotel for new year. Except location there is nothing good to say about this hotel. Staff is arrogant. Service is slow. No daily room cleaning only after checkout which is useless for customer. If u r in service industry u can't say to cancel booking on arrival. They did so. There was no way to again waste our energy n time to search for other hotel as we were exhausted after long journey. Even after we compromise to stay there, they still manager to argue. I'll definitely never recommend this hotel to anyone. If you still planning to book her I'll recommend you to clear each n everything on call in advanced, with call recording. They are good at changing there own statement at every minute. Most important, they don't accept upi or card, only cash. Which is another...
