Hotel Matruchhaya Lonavala — Hotel in Maharashtra

I got to know a different side of the local people of Lonava.

Rooms are average. No Room service. No lift, it was very difficult for senior citizens. No helping hand from the staff for carrying bags. No restaurant, you have to order food from outside. Price was costly (4 k +)as it was a long weekend.

The checkout time is 10am, reception called 3 times(8:30am, 9:00am, 9:45am) for reminder and attitude was too rude and arrogant, specially the person take care of the reception.

We got to know from our Driver that, lonavala is a over crowded place in weekends/season time, getting hotel is very difficult if you are not booking in advance, because of this high demand most of the mid range hotel’s staff are like unprofessional, they they don’t care at all and about google reviews, they buy it from different people for marketing.

As per my experience, please don’t book this hotel if you are coming with family/friend...

They charge us 2300 per night just bcoz we had late night check-in after a long drive we couldn’t able to search online. While it is showing 1,867. Attaching Google rate pic to this post.

When asked for bill they said “we don’t give bill and if you want bill tax will be added and you will be charged more”.

So they don’t care about you they care about profit.

This hotel gives room only and rest everything you have to find out from outside.

No good views from balcony you can see wall of another hotel.

I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

Due to ola we directly reached at the hotel doorstep , reception was good also receptionist was Polite and cooperative. Cool and silent place no noise nearby just few minutes distance from lonavala Railway station. Rooms are big , clean and ambitious , liked the hot water facility , the one you specially need in winter. Bed was comfortable. Food was not so expensive but not testy, i mean its was oky , room service was very quick and cooperative . Everything was good, no hassle in documentation , check in & out was so easy. Thanks...
