Indus Valley Resort — Hotel in Maharashtra

I would say it's an average place to stay. It is located far from the lonavala railway station . You need to take an auto that will cost you minimum 100 INR to reach there or if you book an Uber then it will take 300 INR. It is almost outside the main city area and hard to find instant transportation. The services were not up to the mark.There are so many insacts in the resort and there is no maintenance by the hotelier. The staff was good overall as they responded quickly ! The rooms are specious we took a super delux AC room. Again there is a problem with water heater in many rooms. The dinning area is in a basement which is cleaned but the way to reach there is kind of haunted you can feel though it is not. Make sure you when you book hotel via make my trip then confirm the number of people you are staying in a room . We booked it for 4 people by paying 2890INR on make my trip.but when I contacted MMT to confirm the booking they said hotelier is not ready to allow 4 people in this amount. And it happened with another tourist group as well who stayed there with us. After all the amount was paid by MMT but still it is safe to confirm the offer once. There is so much dust all around in the resort. The food was good overall. But they are slow in service. Overall it was an average experience for us .I would recommend staying here in the extreme...

dus Valley Resort,||I would like to advise everybody never ever to stay in this hotel. 1.The room was smelly and unkept. 2.The A C remote was not working and when we called the reception they told us that it is direct and the temperature cannot be increased or decreased. He even told us that you wont need AC as it is already raining i.e. he decided what we need or do not need. 3. The duvet cover was dirty and after multiple calls since morning, they changed it at night. 4. The jet spray in the washroom was working very slow and when we called the reception, they told us that it works this way only. 5. The hot water tap was not working and when we called the reception they told us that atleast tap is working. In other rooms conditions are worse. 6. The mattress in the room was very basic and of local quality. It was sinking in the middle. 7. The bedsheets were dirty and unchanged. 8. Welcome drink was not offered as promised. 9. The reception people were extremely rude and unprofessional. 10. There was no mirror in the rooms. 11. The food was pathetic served in breakfast. 12. Water clogging was there in the taps. 13. This resort is very badly maintained, looks very old. Don’t go by the nice photos shown The rooms are very smelly, roofs leaking and ceiling has moss all over, When asked for alternate room, reception says that they are full and no alternate room available Taps are leaking, bath tub not cleaned well, wash basin is clogged and no water flowing properly. Water supply suddenly stops many times in a day, had to call reception half way when water stopped while having bath. Manager says that this happens very often. They don’t even have white sheets & clean covers. For extra bed he brought a small sheet with holes, when asked to replace, brought some short printed sheet we had to use two of them to cover the entire bed The extra beds are also of folding type which end up giving a back pain due to uneven height, AC has water dripping from it into the room Swimming pool is very small, even the steps for climbing in and out are broken at one part of the pool Saturday there was loud music disturbing all inmates in the evening, Hotel staff are not ready to reduce volume and justify saying it will continue till 11pm. Overall a very bad experience People should not waste their money...
