Very Disappointing Stay – Poor Maintenance and Service

Our recent stay at the property was extremely disappointing. While the rooms were decent, the toilet seat in our initial room was crooked. Upon reporting the issue, we were shifted to another room, which was a helpful gesture.

However, the swimming pool was poorly maintained. The tiles on the pool floor were coming off, and one of our family members even suffered a cut on their foot due to the sharp edges. Additionally, when we went to the reception to request a pain relief spray or balm from the first aid kit for our 6-year-old who experienced a cramp during swimming, we were told that they were completely out of basic first-aid supplies.

The food and service were terrible. We ordered tea and coffee to our room, which arrived after 45 minutes and multiple follow-up calls. The same delay occurred with our food order – a simple chicken crispy dish took over an hour and repeated calls to be delivered.

Although dinner timings were from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM, when we arrived at 9:30 PM, most of the dishes were already finished. Refill requests were repeatedly brushed off with excuses like "it's on the way," but it took more than half an hour for anything to arrive. The papad and rotis were rubbery, the dal was extremely thick like cream, and everything was served cold. When we asked, the staff simply said, “Barish ka time hai, toh sab thanda hojata hai.” The dessert mentioned on the menu was already over, and the replacement – Gulab Jamun – looked and tasted stale, possibly a day or two old.

The next morning during breakfast, it took more than 30 minutes just to get the coffee and butter refilled. When the butter was finally served, it was straight out of the refrigerator and frozen solid. Even the bread was not fresh.

Overall, it was such a bad experience food- and service-wise that despite opting for the All Meals plan, we chose to skip lunch the next day to avoid further disappointment.

The property urgently needs serious improvements in its maintenance, kitchen service, and overall guest care. We sincerely hope they address these issues for...

Our stay over here was very disappointing. The rooms were fine but toilet seat was crooked. After complaining about the same, they shifted us to another room. The swimming pool is not properly maintained, the tiles of the pool floor were coming off and the sharp edges of the tiles even gave a cut on the feet to one of our family member. We went to the reception area to ask for a pain relief spray/balm form the first aid kit for our 6 year old who faced cramp pain during swimming and they told us that they were out any pain relief supplies and they don’t have those any more. About the food and service, it was terrible. We had order for tea and coffee in our room which arrived after 45 min after so many calls to the reception and restaurant. Same happed with our food order that took more than 1 hr once again after several calls. Dinner timing are 8.30 to 10.30 But at the tym we reached around 9.30 Most of the food was finished and the empty food vessels were not refilled, on asking for it they kept on saying it’s on it’s way but it didn’t arrive before half an hour. Papad and Roti both were rubbery. The initial dessert mentioned in the menu was over by that time and in replacement there was Gulab Jamun that looked like 2 days old. Next day during breakfast, it took more than half an hour again to just refill the coffee and butter bowl. The butter served later was also directly removed from the refrigerator and just kept at the counter in the frozen form. It was a terrible experience food and service wise. Sooo horrible experience that we had opted for All Meals but decided to not have lunch the next day so we don’t have to go through the same disappointments again. They really need a lot of improvements in maintenance...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Le Tranquil Resort, Lonavala for two days as part of an office training program, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience!

From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm and professional hospitality. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, providing the perfect combination of comfort and luxury. The serene and peaceful surroundings added to the charm of the stay, making it a truly relaxing experience.

One of the highlights was the food—every meal was absolutely delicious! The variety and quality of the dishes exceeded my expectations. Each dish was prepared with great attention to detail, and the flavors were outstanding.

The overall ambiance of the resort is simply amazing. Whether it’s the beautifully maintained premises, the tranquil environment, or the excellent service, everything about Le Tranquil Resort speaks of quality and care.

I highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Lonavala, whether for business or leisure. It’s a perfect getaway that offers great food, exceptional service, and a peaceful atmosphere. A well-deserved 5-star rating for this wonderful place! Looking forward to visiting again...
