Hotel Mumbai International — Hotel in Mumbai

I have booked their so called “Superior triple bed with breakfast” at a price of 5009/- on 3rd August for group of 4 with 2 child for 4th August. After some time (approx. 1hr later) one guy calls up from hotel and tells that the room has already been taken, then how it was still available? He promised me to give 2 super deluxe room instead at more 1500/- extra rate and I agreed to it as we wanted room only for few hours, as we had international flight the next day morning i.e 5th August. The first room was okayish, clean and water availability whole time, but found cockroaches in the room (photo attached). The second room which we got was a third class room with no water, and the washroom closet was broken as well. And the persons who stayed in that room had to come to the other room and had to freshen up. Third class service - called up the reception to inform the scene, they said water is not coming because the hotel is full. During checkout - We asked for the receipt of 1500/- which they denied to give, as they have taken it illegally. Also, we again said regarding the great fantastic service they provided, that time they said like the cork was closed by them, thats the reason water was not coming. Like seriously? To start of with Positives - Location is good. Not too far from Airport and Railway stations. Cleanliness is also good.

Negatives - Paid extra to book room offering Free Breakfast (at Room) , Bottle of Water for my Guest. Was a 1 night booking. My guest checked in late around 8 pm and checked out early morning by 9.45am. Morning when he enquired for Breakfast, after scheduled hrs at 8.30 am, they told only Poha & Tea was available whereas at time of Booking was told guest can call and ask for specific Breakfast of our choice.

At the time of checkout, Guest was asked to pay for Poha and Tea. Guest called me (as I did the booking). When I spoke to Receptionist, he said no Breakfast booking details shared by Agoda. I had to then WhatsApp the booking to Guest who showed to Receptionist. Only then they agreed for it. Guest was still asked to pay for Bottle of Water which should have been included Free of Charge as per Benefits listed in Booking.

Not a good experience with the Hotel. Also, first time booking with Agoda not went well as am unsure if Hotel telling lies or Agoda didn't share the proper Booking...
