Ivy Splendour Studios — Hotel in Mumbai

I recently stayed at Ivy Splendor in Andheri West (Oshiwara), and it was a pleasant experience overall.

Rooms & Amenities: The rooms are quite spacious with cozy, well-decorated interiors, giving a warm and comfortable vibe. A large window allows ample natural light to brighten up the space. Basic amenities like a microwave and induction stove are provided for small cooking needs, such as making tea or warming food. A geyser and other essentials are available, and the staff is always ready to assist with a quick call. The place also offers self-check-in, which is hassle-free, and daily cleaning is taken care of by a helpful caretaker.

Location: The location is very convenient. Within walking distance, there’s a local market on one side and a food court on the other. Popular spots like Infinity Mall, Juhu Beach, and St. Joseph Church are easily accessible via a quick auto ride.

Building: While the exterior and building might seem a bit worn, the interiors are beautifully maintained with mirrors and modern touches. The flat is located on the 3rd floor, and there’s a proper working lift, so accessibility is not an issue.

Value for Money: This place truly offers great value for money. For anyone visiting Mumbai, I would highly recommend staying here—it’s comfortable, well-located, and makes you feel at home. I’ll definitely choose Ivy Splendor again for my next visit!

Cons: Auto rickshaw drivers might not recognize the name Ivy Splendor or shreedham splendour, so it’s better to book an Uber or mention Oshiwara as the drop-off location for ease. (i preferred booking uber auto/cab...

Disappointing stay. The area was dirty and the building entrance poorly maintained. The apartment is right next to a laser hair removal clinic—felt like a commercial space, not a proper BnB.

Bathroom was wet and unclean, sink was tiny and dirty. Furniture was dusty, half the cupboard was filled with the host’s stuff, and the drawers were too filthy to use. No blanket provided—just a zipped bed cover, and we had to look for a blanket on our own.

Cleaning was missed on day two despite claims someone came. Room was cleaned only on day three.

Checkout was a mess. One person asked us to leave early for deep cleaning, another showed up at checkout saying new guests were waiting—two completely different and illogical stories.

Wouldn’t recommend unless major...

Nightmare experience..it has all the characteristic of a slum No water for full day..elecricity and.ac now working.wifi not woeking..pans and utensils are not there..filthy toilet and towels..washing machine not working. Garbage of pizza slides in the corridor and very dirthty slum area all around..very humid...
