IceKraft — Restaurant in Mumbai

Had been to Icekraft few days ago on a weekday. I was absolutely thrilled to see the number of customers who were waiting inside as well as sitting outside. For once I took a head count and it was 32. This is the running crowd that keeps shuffling at Icekraft.

This place has gained a lot of name and fame in a very short time. The Black Ice cream, their USP, has too soon become the superstar in the world of desserts.

It has sufficient number of staff. You can also play cards and Jenga here. It's situated on a busy street of Oshiwara. Functions from noon to almost 1 am. Service too was good.

I had been there for a review and thus tried a number of desserts till I felt sugar rush.

Started off with :-

1. ABSOLUTE CHOCOLATE

This was a nice chocolate chip ice cream topped with chocolate syrup.

2. RED VELVET BROWNIE FRIES

Egg-less brownies dipped in red velvet batter and deep fried and served with whipped cream. These had nice gooey chocolate inside and were pretty hard outside. Looked very tempting and certainly way too innovative.

3. CHOCOLATE WAFFLE ICE CREAM

Waffle Baked with choco-chips and nutella. Story doesn't end here, It also had chocolate sauce pouring with creamy absolute chocolate ice-cream on top.

4. HURRICANE FRIES

A flavorful twister with thin potato coated with nice spices and cheese sauce. They also give an in-house dip along with this twister. It's fun to have them slice by slice.

5. 1000 ISLAND SANDWICH

It's indeed an appetising one with good amount of veggies and sauces. It comes along with salad beside. It's customizable. You can select your own base, sauces and veggies.

6. CRINKLE CUT FRIES

These saved me from the sugar-rush. I loved how nice and flavorful they tasted. Fries are always a good snack and these crinkle cut ones can be ordered with choice of topping. I got cheesy ones for me and totally drooled over them.

7. ICE CREAM TACOS

I didn't have the black cone ice cream because I was too attracted and curious to try three varieties of black ice cream. So these had Black, Red velvet and regular taco in which was the famous fantastic black ice cream and to make it cute and more presentable, it had sprinklers and milk chocolate. The tacos were too good. Got a boomerang also with them.

You must try this when you visit Icekraft. I suggest you to be greedy. Don't just have 1 ice cream cone. Have 3 tacos.

Icekraft is a really amazing choice for desserts. And we should not only consider it for desserts, they have good snacks too. The way they make their ice creams is awesome. A very nice...

TL;DR Charcoal Ice Cream, Delicious Fries, Huge variations of ice cream

Icekraft has got some tremendous variety of ice creams. Not only ice creams they got some delicious fries, corn, and sandwiches in house.

They are quite famous for their black ice cream and is definitely a must try.

Here is our take on what we tried,

Absolute Berry Shake - That’s a freak shake. Shake prepared from berry ice cream, topped with lot of cream, berry syrup and added chocolate sticks and a quarter of waffle. Surely you'll get full even with one of these.

Black Ice Creams - We tried couple of ice creams, triple threat and carbon casablanco. Charcoal based ice cream which gives it the black color. You can add different taste to it. Like we added oreo to one and berry and white chocolate to another. The back cone does gets soggy after some time if you get busy clicking the pictures and don’t eat it :P

Zucchini Fries - Craving for fries? This is a unique fries. Zucchini cut, dipped in batter and deep fried, added with masala on top. Our fries were bit bitter, maybe because of zucchini was bitter. Overall a brilliant variation of classic fries.

Tempura Vegetables - If you don’t like veggies this is a wonderful way to eat your veggies. So crisp and delicious. Light even after being fried.

Fries Platter (Crinkle Cut Fries, Sweet Potato Fries, Wedges) - what goes into making the perfect french fries has to do with ensuring that the center of the fries are fully cooked before the outsides get too brown. Icekraft

I remember waiting outside this outlet for 45 min just to try the black ice cream when it was launched and trust me it was worth the wait.

Since then I have tried the black ice cream at many other places but what icekraft makes, that cannot be replicated. They serve magic in a cone / glass.

I'm a regular at this place, I was maybe the first 100 customer to visit their first outlet. Since then they have taken off in a way that now they have 7 outlet in Bombay and many other outlets in different cities. Still they have maintained their quality and taste.

So I heard icekraft has come up with the first selfie freak shake and I HAD TO TRY IT ASAP. so one night post work I planned to visit this place and check out everything new they have launched and I was pretty surprised as the gap between my previous visit and this visit was not more than 2 months and they had so many new things on their menu.

Before I tell you what I ate I would like to tell you more about the place. This outlet has two sections. one is the A/C section which is at the mazanine level and the other is the open section outside the outlet. They have cute interior and games to play while chilling with your gang.
