Bluemoon Bungalow Pondicherry — Hotel in Puducherry

Jupiter Room is very basic, not very clean and the bathroom is extremely old and the flush only works occasionally, it has bathtub which doesn't look in good shape to use and the water gets clogged near the bathroom drain. The property has extreme salt water, I think it's the ocean water in every tap which is extremely salty, we had to use bottled water to wash our faces as salt water was causing rashes. Had a common kitchen, the cutlery was extremely unhygienic, and everything you use is chargable, even extra blanket, campfire, extra towel ( no replacement of towel even if your stay is for 4 nights ), no place to dry towels, balcony was very dusty. The owner bathri had no regard for consent, he and the receptionist started recording a video of us without our permission. Wouldn't recommend staying here as it is isolated, and away from the center.

Owner made a big deal out of this review and sent me long messages to my WhatsApp, also refused to give us our payment invoice after full payment. He said that he has recorded my call of the conversation we had regarding payment. Stating that he informed us prior about GST is additional 18%. Now after full payment is done and it's been 3 days we left the place he is asking us to pay 18% for tax invoice. ( he never told us anything about additional payment for gst, it...

I don’t mean any disrespect to the host of this place but I strongly feel that the prices for this place in AirBnB are premium but the facilities are budget.

Location: The location sucks. The surrounding is only slightly better than a slum. Which translates to no good restaurants, shops nearby. The approach roads are so narrow.

Rooms: This building is very old. Some geysers are not working. There are lizards in rooms. Electricity wiring is shaky. Every facility looks like makeshift. The compound outside the interior home is not clean. Lots of mosquitoes.

To her credit the host is attentive and accommodating to every request. But she was very pushy to give a 5 star review. I feel it is only prudent to give an informative review that’ll help future guests than to sugar coat the review just to please the host.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Bluemoon Bungalow and I have to say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the bungalow's awesome ambiance. The decor was stylish and inviting, and the overall atmosphere was just so relaxing and enjoyable.

The rooms were also great - they were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect.

I visited with my team and it was a corporate outing. There were plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces for us to gather and socialize, and the staff were always on hand to assist with any needs or requests we had.
