Roscotel Shara Inn Pondicherry - Homestay — Hotel in Puducherry

So we'd a wonderful stay at Shara Inn for one night on our visit to Pondicherry. If you really want to stay out from city hustle bustle, this is the place. I'd an issue which necessary doesn't impacted me in any way but mentioning since this how things will gets improve.

We only stayed there for 1 night as we booked our following nights stay within the city centre area.

On our first day, it was really smooth and went well but on 2nd day (the day of checkout), we met morning manager outside our room as we came back from morning walk on the beach which is 3 kms far from the hotel and he told if we can checkout early as other guest came early and wants to check-in, it was 9 AM and checkout time was 11 AM. We said no as we had to get ready, pack everything, eat some snacks and also take some rest too.

Next, we asked the same manager to provide fresh towels, he said no, as we're checking out. Not sure, if this is their policy or he declined as we're not checking out early. Since our checkout transition was nice too and there're no other issues here are the few things need to improve -

Paying the same price for which you may get a decent hotel in city centre area with completely breakfast and porter service. PLEASE don't ask guests to checkout early because new guests wants to check-in. It's not at all our problem. We all were there to have some quality time.

I would suggest the owner to either providing at least porter service and breakfast with the room booking else everything is perfect there's no complaint...

I liked the home stay and everything about it. And for sure I would recommend it to everyone -in fact I have already started recommending it-. Location is nice but little far from the city center. Yet, all needed services are close by. Restaurant and cafes are close by as well. The rooms are well designed and very clean.This place close to all the tourist attractions, House keeping Facility was really good special thanks to Dinesh who was ready for your service, Also other thing I would like to give feedback on the Wi-Fi facility as it was not working and also on the complimentary breakfast provided for two days it was not upto the mark, please have this improved in coming forth days,Thank you Vijay...

This place was well maintained with sparkling clean rooms. Everyone will have a home like feeling when you stay here. We had a friendly interaction with the management and they're very helpful when u need anything. Thank you for such hospitality. Especially the interior was very good and a spacious living room with a big TV. The washrooms were also neat and clean. Very close to ECR road and many shops nearby. I would recommend this place for the travellers who gonna stay in Pondicherry. Complete your booking through Make my trip so that you can get more offers. I've booked this place for 8.1k for 3...
