Adisil Bay — Restaurant in Puducherry

We felt this place to be a much hyped average restaurant. The food and ambience was not as great as expected. The service was decent.

We went as three adults with a small kid for a simple birthday treat. The quantity served looked really less for the prices charged. The taste and presentation was also not that great. We had limited choices as they said some of the dishes we asked for weren't available and also, a chef making a specific list of dishes was on leave that day.

Based on the waiter's suggestion, we ordered a chicken platter which was the best out of all. Naan (both butter and garlic) was good. Manchow soup was good but very less quantity for two by three. The tikka masala gravy was just ok. We felt squid was overpriced for the quantity served. The taste was also very average.

We ordered chicken salad which was supposed to have olive toppings. They forgot it completely. After we asked for it, the waiter served some olives in a bowl. We asked if sweet kesari was available to give for the kid. A very small bowl of average taste Kesari was charged 55 rupees.

Based on our experience, it is ok to go to this place for a change but not a very ideal one to hang out with family/friends...

They are preparing briyani with readymade mix. Too much of time.taken.. guys if your hungry don't go this restaurant..worst..using previous day briyani..I personally seen.. they are not hygiene.. worst preparation all are yesterday chicken..they don't treat customer.because all are guest from the hotel . You will get stomach pain.. if your ok .. u can order one briyani they will take minimum 20 minutes. If they have briyani.. why it's takes 20 minutes.. they have ready mix .. fish 2 days ...chicken 2 days..heating and give . No one give water ..all water is ro water ..even if you buy mineral water that's also a RO WATER. . especially manager babu... If u ask meals chicken meals mutton meals ready made mix..

Guys got severe stomach pain..heavier

Main thing it's locating in hotel so focusing only...

I have traveled and dine in so many restaurants so far…but this was one of my favorite place to have a meal with my loved ones..very hygienic…authentic taste in reasonable price…u actually get to taste what ur tastebuds is craving for…home made type food from heart….lovely environment with the active staffs who is always ready for your call, to serve and make u feel so comfortable with their pleasant personality…thanx to all the staffs especially to Suganti madam & Prabhakar Sir , the owners (whom we coincidentally met that day) who made us feel so special….I recommend u to visit this place and hopefully it becomes one of ur...
