Food Mubarak Restaurant — Restaurant in Puducherry

I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for the past 2 years. And I have ordered a lot during this period. But sadly their service became good to poor to downright unprofessional behaviour towards the customer.

On multiple occasions, I was given vegetable noodles instead of chicken noodles. To be precise, it happened three times not jus once. Couple of times they noodles was soaked in oil. Many times there would be very less chicken but i just ignored it on most occasions. Couple of times they gave burnt the dragon chicken that i ordered and once gave me a stale chicken which was like a block of rubber. And each of those instances I requested for replacement because I was paying for my food.

And they kept continuing with their pathetic service despite such mishaps..and once again the same thing happened when i ordered for mixed noodles today, where there was absolutely the least amount of chicken and prawn in it, no restaurant has served in such manner. On questioning, the owner was belligerent and callous and asked me and my mother to not buy in their shop and that he won't serve food for us since we question their quantity of food served and service. And the quantity of chicken in the noodles is supposed to be like that and they don't care if there's chicken or not since other customers don't bother about it. And he added that, other customers will eat anything that he serves them and that I was supposed to be like them and eat whatever is served and not question their service or never to return to their restaurant.

The owner is a rogue in disguise who cheats people by serving sub standard and spoilt food. He is notorious to sell stale and laced foods to customers with substance. And when he is questioned he would turn hostile towards you and your elderly parents.

My visit, accompanied by five friends, was memorable due to the excellent service and delicious dishes.

Upon arrival, we were informed that our food would be served with a delay of about 30 minutes. However, to our pleasant surprise, the wait time was much shorter, and our order arrived within 10 minutes. This efficiency was commendable, especially given the restaurant's busy atmosphere.

The menu boasts a variety of items, and we sampled several: Shawarma, Alfaham, soup, garlic butter naan, and egg noodles. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared, standing out in quality and taste compared to many other restaurants in Pondicherry. The Shawarma was particularly noteworthy, with its perfectly seasoned meat and fresh accompaniments.

While the food was excellent, there were a few areas where the restaurant could improve. The table we were seated at was somewhat small for our group of six, leading to a cramped dining experience once all the dishes were served. Larger tables would significantly enhance the comfort for bigger groups. Additionally, we noticed that the ketchup bottle on our table was empty, and there was a slight delay in providing cutlery, which could be better managed.

Every person visiting pondy must try this once and you will visit here many times. The most beautiful thing is this is situated in ECR so those who come by ECR can give a try .Really speaking the truth .. This is very good place to have lunch with your family... It is very calm ,goof ambiance, good lighting , and really good service , the food is amazing , most importantly u can have privacy , price is also reasonable because you will get freshly prepared food ..For starters we ordered mutton soup and it was top notch my dad really liked it , and I highly recommend everyone to try their cream mushroom soup it was amazing and really tastes so so good I liked it and definitely I'll give a try next time too ...
