I had bookde SRM residency from 24th to 26th Jan. on 24th I called hotel receptionist at 4 pm, and informed about possible delay in reachin hotel. whwn i reached hotel @ 10.pm. to my surprise they have alloted my room to some other guest and no AC room was available for us. had a tough time fighting with receptionist and latter on with hotel manager on call. Options given to me were: eithe cancel the booking or shift to non ac room and they will refund the difference between ac and non ac room for the night.|We opted for 2nd option as at 11 pm it was difficult to search for hotel.|Non Ac room we got as pathetic. Washroom latch was broken.|room service is also pathetic.. its like the crying baby gets the milk.. unless u ask they wont provide you basic ammenities. had to call quite few times for getting towel. soap, blanket.|Towels provided were torn out, no one will use such towels at home as well. |For eveything the hotel staff used to tell " Sir Please adjust for today" |While checkout had another fight for getting refund. while checkin they agreed to refund but while checkout the receptionist and owner refused and said nothing as such was agreed. AC are pretty old. Sometimes either you can switch on or switch off.
There is no room level main to switch the power off. There's a flor level grid the guy at the reception will request you to switch off.
Some rooms have a weird cranking sound of fans, which you may want to switch.
This is little bit hard to find space. There's room for two cars in the ground floor.
There are medical shops near by.
Some rooms sort of have a weird smell.
Some rooms have AC water leak into the room.
Technical Glitch : The lift will drop you at 3rd floor but won't pick you up at 3rd floor. Run into 2nd Floor to go to ground floor via lift.
Bathrooms were average in cleanliness.
The Beds and Bedsheets didn't look well freshed when first found out.
