It's really horrible experience here in the Dindigul Talapakatti Restaurant. We went for dinner keeping the brand expectations around 11pm (after reserving seats for 10 members at 8pm), after arrival they have told us no Chicken Biryani only Mutton biryani available. And we are actually OK for it and asked them to arrange the seating for us. They shifted us two times from one place to other place and we all are ready to order and called them and orders Mutton biryani. They told mutton biryani also over we can serve only Fried rice. We just left that place immediately. And again the other day we went for lunch around 2pm and we have done order in 2 batches one for veg and one for non veg.. After waiting for a period of 1 hours they served Non-veg and my vegetarian friends are still waiting for their order to arrive. And you know thry forgot about that vegetarian order itself and at last they came and told only non veg food we order and nothing. But the veg items order showing still active in their list. We were really disappointed and treeid to vacate the place immediately. And they are ready to left also. We told we are not ready to pay the half items which arrived for non veg too. Then they told just wait for 10 min and they will bring all. And literally they done it.
And coming to food and serving. The food quantity of biryani won't even sufficient to one guy. It will come only with 2 small pieces of mutton or chicken on top of rice. And thr serving guy don't even have a sense that we need to serve the food in plate and bring other items with biryani like gravy or rytha or onions. And Kothu Parota, it is again one more masterpiece, better not to taste here, you will lose interest over that food item. We need to ask him for the same and remember them. And literally we came out of that restaurant by 5pm. This blady thing taken 3 hours of time from our trip day for the worst experience. These guys are just spoiling the brand name of Dindigul Thalapakatti. And thinking like people will come based on brand name in spite of their food taste and service. Hope the brand owners will take action...

We visited this Restaurant for Dinner by 9.45 pm and were placing our order to our Table attendant my Manoj , who was very rude while taking our order, when I objected then another waiting Staff took our order We ordered for Chicken Milagu Soup, Alfam Barbeque Chicken, Chicken Varuval Masala, Nool Parotta, Ceylon Parotta, Butter Naan and Chicken 65 Biryani. While ordering food we clearly mentioned the waiter to send our food course wise, which he agreed. To our surprise while we were having Soup an another Waiter came with our Maincourse even though our Starter also not came on table, We Informed the person to send our Starter first & later Maincourse, we agreed to wait for Starter. it took somewhere 15 minutes for our Starter and more 10 minutes while were consuming our Food. Then our Maincourse came unfortunately our Maincourse curry was Chicken Varuval Masala, that at any circumstances doesn't justify the name it was just a Chicken Curry they can't call it Masala. Also the Indian Breads they serve were all cold and rubbery because they cooked it before 25- 30 minutes. We asked for Manager to address this issue but again Mr. Manoj the rude waiter came and abruptly Informed this is how we make our food and left, Also they forgot our Chicken 65 Biryani and complimentary Kurma which is served with Barotta. I called all the senior staff present over there and Informed my grievance that made oour Dinner worse, but all of them seems not bothered. Read moreI had the worst experience ever. My father bought the ifthar box which contains 14 items but we received only 11 items and when we contacted them they didn't respond well. Worst customer care. They replied that they will check and call back later but we didn't receive any call from them. Then my father sent message through their WhatsApp number to some manager somewhere in Tamil Nadu but not the Puducherry branch. Within few minutes the same person whom we contacted in Puducherry branch called back and said there would have been some mistake and bla bla bla but no proper response. I accept there might have been some human error while packing 14 items but they should have responded in a good manner which they didn't. While customers pay money at the counter you people check the denomination once to twice...Y don't u check a package box if it contains all the supposed 14 items before delivering to customers? And one more thing to be added is that their visual representation of the ifthar box is also misleading for example I can tell about one of the items where it was shown to outpour from the box with bunch of dates but in reality not even one solid dates piece but only half piece of dates cut into two was given. I was terribly disappointed to the core. Well they could have shown 1/2 piece of dates instead of showing a bunch. On the whole not worth the money and lack if not good but even decent customer support. And also the taste of the items was yuck....Flavourless briyani and the haleem was too bad.. and chicken gravy too without any flavour and spice and BBQ chicken all the pieces were just bones...Hardly I can find any flesh of chicken...Though their shawarma was small in size it...
