It's same as OYO & Capital O where they don't own it themselves but rather either have a tie up OR have acqured the hotel as a franchise and changed the decor to match Treebo's green theme. In essence it isn't any better than OYO & Capital O and similar other chains.
Reception staff wasn't even aware of how their system works as I wanted to make a payment for the remainder amount using my AMEX card and they said they don't do AMEX. I had to pay from the card i didn't wanna use and then I notice (a few hours after checking in) links come in from Treebo on whats app for payment links for the remainder payment and I could've used my AMEX there like i did when i paid to reserve the hotel.
Specific experiences I had during my stay in Jan'23:
Exterior & Facade pictures are fake and you can make it out in the images itself. I & other guests couldn't even recognize it from the outside and I had to actually go in an check out the rooms before I checked in completely to make sure there aren't anymore surprises they have for us. Images posted on their website and all other websites were fake (exterior) and super old (when it was renovated) so you'll be easily fooled by those.
Front desk is adamant on the guests making payment 1st and then answering questions. It's a cheap hotel regardless of the price that you pay for it.
Main room door opens from outside if not double locked from inside (this was hilarious as it was stupid). Which hotel keeps this option of the door opening from the outside if not double locked from inside.
AC was very old and barely worked.
Towels seemed washed long time ago and had turned gray probably coz they were never changed and the hotel just kept washing the same ones over n over again for years. Handwash & Body wash were practically empty.
Bathroom window blinds were full of stains of fungus & mold (totally disgusting)
Tea was served in age old cup & saucer. Had to be returned and ask for a cleaner cup & saucer.
No hangers in the wardrobe
Only thing good about this hotel was location in the market with pretty much every kind of shop nearby. Had to get disposable cutlery & plates myself bcoz the hotel would charge for every damn thing and trust me what they offered isn't worth even if given for free.
If anyone's ok with these issues with the hotel & service and only need to spend 1 night there for some work then I'd say it's probably cheap enough for that.
If you're still going with this hotel,...
Read morePathetic, disgusting, miserable!! (Please read before you even think of staying in this Hotel) I stayed here with my family (wrong decision) in Jan 2023. First of all don't be fooled by the pictures that you see on Google or website, all photos are old, rooms are verryyyyy small. I was standing beside this building and was not able to locate the Hotel, such is the difference between online photos and reality. The staff is not helpful at all. If you are traveling with your vehicle then you should carry your luck with you to find a parking space in this building. As soon as I entered the building I was informed that if you go outside again for any reason you might lose your parking spot. The locality is very crowded you will not get a parking space nearby. After much negotiation with security he agreed to keep a spot for me. Upon check-in I was asked to pay the remainder of the amount right away. It was like after that only we will answer any of your queries. We checked in, the rooms were small and to my surprise I found a dead cockroach on the floor. Half of the bathroom ceiling was missing, it was very late at night, I tried contacting on-duty manager but there was no one. I did not make a fuss out of it since it was very late. The next morning I went for breakfast, the worst food I ever had in my life. Road side pe accha milta hai. I asked for some milk for my 3 year old daughter and they straight away denied. Reason - they had limited milk and whichever food is there on the table you will get that only. After some time I asked for warm water for my daughter and they again denied saying there is a kettle in your room, you can help yourself. I knew there was no kettle in my room, informed the staff about it, instead of giving me some warm water from kitchen he informed staff member to send kettle to my room. This is just an OYO hotel, or for a single person who will stay for a night for work and leave in the morning. Worst experience ever, will never...
Read moreI checked into the hotel yesterday and I’ve had the worst experience so far with this specific hotel endorsed by Treebo. Having a good reputation that it claims in the market, Treebo has failed in choosing a tie up with this specific hotel. It is too disappointing to say that we as a family that checked in are waiting to check out from here as the hotel and staff are pathetic. The personnel at the reception made us wait for a long period at the counter without allowing us to check in and was demanding for advance full Payment cash despite even considering that we were carrying 1 year old children.(without showing any courtesy). The time when we were given the rooms, there were a lot of mosquitos and cockroaches in the area. The rooms door locks were also broken. There was a foul smell in the rooms. After speaking and complaining to Treebo we got a mosquito repellent coil from the staff, but overall it was very poor. The beds were also not very comfortable and the sheets were unclean… as we came at night we had no place to go and had children so we had to adjust, this is the worst experience I’ve ever had with my family and poorly taken care of by the staff. Even the food was horrible, there were flies mosquitoes sitting on the plates and the food was totally unhygienic… this is far the worst and 3 rd class hotel I’ve ever come a-crossed. Will never recommend this for people with families including children as it’s a...
