A hotel located in Heart of the Udaipur City. Pros :- All the places that one would like to explore like City Palace, Vintage Car Museum, Karni Mata Ropeway, Pichola Lake, Fateh Sagar Lake, Fish Aquarium, Maharaja Maharana Pratap Museum, everything is located within 2 kms from this Hotel. Sadly in my overall Trip this was the only positive i found in this Hotel. Lets talk about the Cons now, 1. I booked the Hotel seeing it is located on Lake Pichola. Technically it is, but from the Window view you can just see a slight corner of Pichola Lake that too it is quite dirty and filled with Garbage. Another view from the Hotel is of a Residential colony. - View Wise i would rate it 1/5 2. No amenities are there at the Hotel to keep you engaged with anything at all. In fact the Restaurant too is outsourced to some other Party. The Restaurant is literally pathetic in terms of Service and Hospitality. In the breakfast the guy is not even ready to pour you Tea in the Kulhad leave aside serving something on your Table. When the food (like Bhatura/Parantha) finishes then he call the Kitchen (downstairs) to send something up which takes 10-13mins easily (preparation+bringing up). When you call the Kitchen there is a lady who picks up the Phone (Tanu) who is impolite, rusty with her choice of words and has zero sense of customer experience. I called and asked her for Whiskey glasses, for first 15-20 mins i made calls 3-4 times with a response that we are sending, finally the 5th time the Lady said all our tables are full we cant give you glasses, when i asked that should we be drinking in Coffee mugs then ? She said call the Reception and ask them and hung the phone to my face. I straight away contacted the Hotel Manager (Mahendra) he is a decent guy, he took this up with The Restaurant manager and then he came and apologized for the behaviour by that Lady. - All in all in terms of Service at a Hotel where there are no Amenities what you look for is Restaurant service/food which i would rate negative. Service - 5/5 Food - 1/5 3. This is just FYI, they gave me a Scooty on rent for 450/- per day which in the market is easily available at 250/- per day. Also i had taken the Scooty at 5PM and returned the next day at 5PM and the Reception guy asked me to pay 900/- saying that the charge is day wise and not 24hrs from when you have rented the scooty which was a bizarre logic as per me. This also raised with the Hotel Manager and he said yes this is wrong and he took it up with the travel desk and I finally paid for 1 day (₹450/-) Again if you see the Front facing service, rate it by yourself. Overall my experience here was 1/5 1 also because of the Proximity of this place to other destinations. A complete NO for family bookings ❌❌❌

I got a palace room and the the hotel is great in terms of location, cleanliness and hospitality. Every floor has beautifully curated art on walls and there’s great attention to detail. There’s a water booth and sanitiser on each floor and that’s really nice. Nice music in the lift. Room- was clean, there’s a fridge too. Decor is amazing. The table was actually a huge wooden trunk. It didn’t have any view but still was great. Room slippers were available, dryer in the bathroom, even the coffee sachets were premium. Truly a boutique hotel The hotel has two restaurants- nobles of Mewar which is their rooftop restaurant and it’s beautiful. Mosquitoes may bite though. I had a simple dinner there so wouldn’t comment on food. There’s an insanely beautiful cafe called Qalaa where every corner is hand painted and looks like a dream. Had drinks there but no food. Although the dessert section needs improvement there was only chocolate cake/brownie and ice cream. It’s a fabulous cafe and you can see lot of thought out into its interiors. It’s open till 2pm and that’s a big deal in Udaipur You easily get autos and scooty for rent from outside the hotel. The reason for 1 star less is the breakfast. We stayed for 2 days and the breakfast was same idli sambar, aloo paratha which takes time to make, canned juices. No nonveg - so then the variety of veg should be good right? But no. The Sabu Dana khichadi can give a heart attack to a Maharashtrian and sambar can do the same to a south Indian. There were foreigners staying and I felt bad for them that they were having just bread and butter.

We booked the palace suite for a night here with the lake. To be Frank there is no lake view. It's only the backwater or gutter view! Room was big enough but not well maintained. There were hair in every corner and flew when fan was on. Dust on top of arms of chairs and there was no floor mat in whole room. It was very difficult to get out of the shower without a mat outside. Staff were very polite and got the luggage to room and talked nicely. Hotel is very well decorated with art works. Ac didn't cool the room even with 15°c till 11pm from 9pm. Since it was late we didn't call the maintenance guy. Morning when we complained and checked it was 10am and found out someone had changed the mode and because of negligence we didn't sleep the whole night. Breakfast is just limited option and idli were hard as rock, juice was packed juice and not fresh. Paratha was tasty though. Over all it wasn't worth the money we paid, no facilities, no view and no cleanliness . There is no single complain on staff. They even agreed to keep the luggage till evening in the reception area. Iron box and table provided when asked. Towels weren't in room. Had to call reception twice to get the towels. Don't go with the pictures and book this place.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Bloom Boutique Hotel in Udaipur, and it was an experience that left me utterly impressed. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this hotel truly excels in providing exceptional hospitality and creating a warm and welcoming environment.

The check-in process was seamless, thanks to our online reservation. The staff greeted us with utmost professionalism and a genuine smile, making us feel instantly at ease. Their attentiveness and commitment to ensuring our comfort were evident throughout our entire stay.

To our delight, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade upon arrival. The manager, without asking any questions, graciously offered us an enhanced room due to a few minor things that weren't exactly as we had hoped. This level of customer service and attention to detail truly exemplifies the hospitality that every hotel should aspire to provide.

The hotel boasts a breathtaking view, and we were fortunate to experience it firsthand. The serene surroundings of Lake Pichola and the proximity to the City Palace added a touch of magic to our stay. Each day, as we took in the stunning vistas, we were reminded of the beauty that Udaipur has to offer.

The ambiance, decor, and layout of the hotel were simply exquisite. The interior design of our room was tastefully done, creating a soothing and luxurious atmosphere. The amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was comfortable and convenient.

One highlight that cannot go unmentioned is the hotel's breakfast. It was an absolute must-try! Every day, we were treated to an exclusive menu, freshly made to order just for us. The variety and quality of the dishes surpassed our expectations, and we savored each bite. The staff serving us breakfast displayed the utmost respect, professionalism, and kindness, further enhancing our dining experience.

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff of Bloom Boutique Hotel for making our stay in Udaipur truly memorable. The level of service and attention to detail exceeded our expectations, and we felt like valued guests throughout our visit.

For anyone looking for a place to stay in Udaipur, I wholeheartedly recommend Bloom Boutique Hotel. Not only does it offer top-notch views, but the combination of stunning ambiance, delectable food, and friendly staff truly sets it apart. This hotel provides exceptional value for its price range, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a memorable and luxurious experience in Udaipur.

Thank you, Bloom staff, for making our stay unforgettable. We look forward to returning...

Staying anonymous for this one as we had a terrible experience at Bloom Hotel. If you want a place that's dirt cheap that's what you'll get - a place that's dirty and cheap. We were a group of 8, some of us from abroad. We checked in and after a few hours, a few of us were crying because of how bad the hotel is. The rooms, sheets, bathroom are so old and disgusting. The AC in our room was broken and making a loud sound. They have just loaded the place with some antique looking furniture. The lake view from the so called suite room had piles of garbage everywhere. We went to the terrace to eat something. We saw a huge RAT - yes a rat running across the kitchen roof. That was the last straw. We went down to reception to ask for a refund as everyone in our group was depressed after being in that hotel for a few hours. That's when things got worse. If they would have just given us a refund we would have left satisfied. However, the staff of the hotel tried every trick in the book to prevent us from getting a refund. They claimed that we had booked through an agent and they hadn't received our money - when I pointed out that they had checked us in to the hotel a few hours ago without mentioning this, they started blushing and fumbling. They kept delaying and making us talk to various 'managers'. They finally claimed that we would get a refund in 3-4 days. When we said we were going to be in Udaipur for the next 4 days, they quickly changed the refund period to 5-7 days. By this time we kind of knew we weren't going to get a refund - it was a lot of money - the manager said that 'Rs. 70000 is not a lot for us'. Anyway, some.of our group left the hotel that very night because they couldn't possibly stay there. The rest of us left early the next morning. In the morning we tried to talk to the manager one last time but he couldn't talk to us because he was praying near the reception. Obviously, we never got a refund from them.

If you want to stay in a budget hotel in Udaipur, there are much much better hotels. Don't go for a lake view, get a place in the old city that's clean and the owners nice people. We stayed with a family guest house after this and it was so lovely - clean and charming. If you want a lake view just go to a restaurant for a meal. Cleanliness and a homely, nice atmosphere is much more important. Honestly, beging Indian I'm embarrassed at places like Bloom Hotel that try to scam foreigners. As soon as I entered the hotel, one of the managers tried to sell me some 'old paintings'. Indians are hospitable people, if you want to experience this don't stay...
