If you claim you've explored Udaipur's lake-side eateries enough, it would be a fake one if you havent yet experienced @kitchensofmewar 's cooking and hospitality! Surround yourself with the best of your friends and family and the rest will be taken care of by the most humble @pradeeppratapsingh We were served with the best of their menu offering a range of cuisines from Indian to lebanese food and some refreshing, must- try mocktails! In mocktails, we got our hands on... 🔸️Arabic Cooler infused with organic Rose syrup was a blast of fragrant rose flavor. Some might find it too overpowering. 🔸️ Arabic Cooler infused with a very subtle kewra flavor, gentle on the palette. The best of the two arabic coolers we had! 🔸️ Mango madness, this seasonal smoothie had a great balance of sweet and savoury. 🔸️Passion fruit smoothie, it had a subtle citrus-y tone to it, you could definitely taste each ingredient and its goddness! 🔸️Green energizer, it really was true to its name. Made with cucumber and mint it could work as a great palette cleanser before you dive into your meals! For starters, you have a range of cuisines to choose from. 🔸️Mezze platter had tiny pita breads with falafel, sauteed veggies and a range of sauces like tzatziki, hummus and shredded cheese. Its fun to make your own tiny falafel wraps!! It had a sweet to slightly spicy flavour profile, a little different for our palette! 🔸️Sweet corn kebab and Dahi Ke Kebab were absolutely lip smacking. Sweet corn kebabs had a balanced sweet and savoury taste, being one of their very well crafted recipes and dahi ke kebab were this great light as a pillow pieces of well blended dahi and paneer. 🔸️For the love of momos, we had one of the best tandoori momos with a spicy chutney, some pickled cabbage and cucumbers on the side, a meal in its own! 🔸️Bruschetta with a diced tomato topping, a subtle garlicky flavour and generous amount of olive oil on a well done toast! Great choice for a light starter! For maincourse, they offer some drool-worthy 'true to their name', authentic Rajasthani, Gujarati and other Thalis. #kitchensofinstagram #kitchensofmewar #foodblogger #udaipurfood #foodmeet #blogpost

We landed in Udaipur early morning around 5am, kept our luggage at Hotel Sarovar and post that loitered around the old city till our room was ready. Post a good wash and an hour of nap, we were hungry and wanted to grab some bite So we saw this upstairs resturant with Laal Maas sign, so got in. The restaurant was empty around 3pm, so settled down in 2nd floor and ordered thin crust pizza , Coffee shake for my wife and Wishey Sour for myself. Infact i asked the young boy serving us, which type of whisky will be used, specifing that I prefer Bourbon. He came back stating it will be Bourbon and asked me if I prefer Whisky sour with egg white. Post affirmative answer, I had very low expectations of the drink mixing, but alas the drink presentation with a slice of Orange and first sip, I knew Mixologist was above par. Hats off for his skill. We also loved the thin crust Pizza and the coffee shake We wanted to go back for evening music some day, but alas 3 days was too short. We spent the sat evening at Shamiana roof top of Sarovar hotel itself due to rains and ease as we were staying there. Next visit will try their Mewari cusines.

We went there because of all the good reviews we have read on Google. But place was an utter disappointment. First I would say before you order just have a look around the place. It is so badly maintained. Hygiene and Maintenance of Place is questionable. Broken Glass n dirty furniture speaks volumes. Secondly Extremely slow service. Thirdly bad attitude of staff. And the worst is they served us stale food and kept arguing the food isn’t stale. While any sensible person can just look at it and tell the difference. We ordered for Egg Shakshuka, Makki Kebab and Nepalese Chowmein. Egg Shakshuka was clearly a day old stored in fridge n warmed up in microwave and served. It was so cold, and when asked why is it cold they microwaved it a second time. Makki Kebab was deep fried till it was partly burnt. And Chowmein was to pathetic. Overall save yourself the hassle n skip this place.

Worst experience...they just ruined our day.... the guy serving mocktails told us that we should pay even if he is sneezing in our food and that the doors are open we should leave and never come back and that he can see from our faces that we are the kind of persons who does not wants to pay...all this happened after he served something which was not good enough in taste and in a way that it was not drinkable....when we told him to change it we saw the person sneezing and then touching the food...when we told him that it was not hygienic thing to do so you should replace it..he told us that then ur first concern should be hygiene why are u complaining about taste or the way drink is presented ...and when we told him to let us talk to the owner he said he is the owner while he is not and i know so because my sis is a food vloger she has vlogged for thnd at the and their was the interview of owner at the end . First thing we didn't asked for permission to get in so he was no body to tell us to leave. Secondly those who want hygiene should never visit there. Lastly we tourist are ur lifeline so if u cant give them appropriate hospitality and respect then u should close ur business ..well it will close by itself if things...
