The restaurant goes without saying, has a touch of Udaipur by default. Situated right beside the lake side and the other entrance side has the narrow Udaipur lane which too gives a nice vibe. Only one car and a bike can stand together on that road. About the sitting arrangement: The restaurant has its own parking and the seating is divided into three sections. The high seating area has a low floor dining set-up as well as a table chair set up. The center has a small lawn and a table chair arrangement attached with a roof giving a lake view. And right on the top of the lawn sitting area is another table chair arrangement dine in option with lake view. On the right is the waiting area and washroom. Food: We were 4 adults and 2 kids. The bill was approximately 5.8k( including taxes) This was my first food experience in Udaipur and was super excited to try lal Maas. So we ordered: Starters: 1. Chicken Malai Tikka- Rating 1/5 2. Chicken Banjara Tikka- Rating 1/5 3. Roasted Papad- NA Main course 1. Lal Maas: 2. Maas M: (Mewari if not wrong. Don't remember the name exactly) I was disappointed with the taste, quality, and quantity of the food. Both the mutton main course almost tasted the same. The only difference was less salt and appropriate salt. Breads: Chappari Tokri: 4/5 Butter Nan and butter roti Had a mix of breads. All of them tasted good Drinks: 1. Budweiser: (did not taste authentic) 2. Corona (No complaints) Dessert: Hot Chocolate Brownie with Ice Cream: 4/5 Service: The waiters were polite and knew their job. After our meal, we were provided with wet hand tissues.

Worst non veg food. Had high hopes due to reviews but the food was of very poor quality. The chicken was uncooked and a dead housefly was there in my food. Won't recommend it to anyone. Please refrain from visiting here, there are a lot better places to visit in Udaipur.. this place is just a moneybank. During my recent visit to Khamma Ghani in Udaipur, I was looking forward to a delightful meal, given the restaurant’s popularity. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. The quality of food was not up to par, and to my dismay, a housefly found its way into my chicken tikka. This incident raised concerns about the hygiene standards maintained at the establishment. While the ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, the compromised food quality and hygiene significantly marred the overall dining experience.They even forced me to pay the whole amount instead of accepting their mistake..WORSTTT!!!! My visit to Khamma Ghani in Udaipur was unfortunately disappointing. Not only was the food underwhelming and uncooked, but a housefly in my chicken tikka raised serious hygiene concerns. Moreover, the staff insisted on payment for the unsatisfactory meal, which added to the distress of the situation. While the restaurant’s ambiance was commendable, the insistence on paying for a meal that compromised on both taste and hygiene was disheartening and reflected poorly on the customer service.

We went to Khamma Ghani as it came highly recommended by friends who visited Udaipur earlier. I had called them earlier to check if they accept reservations. They said there was no scope for reservations and it was a first come first serve basis seating. Upon arrival we were seated at a nice corner low table + floor cushions set up. Our order was taken promptly. Unfortunately that is where the good experience ends. The waiters continued to ignore us since then. Didn't respond a single time we called them and we were trying to get their attention multiple times. They just avoided eye contact throughout and our food was served 45 minutes later. They only attended to us after all guests had left from the hall we were seated at. I have never experienced such horrible service from even a street vendor in India. Point to note my mother and sister wear hijab, and it was the first meal i had with them outside a big city in India. As much as i would like to challenge my gut feel, my gut says we were given the horrible treatment just because we are muslims. Food was very ordinary except the mutton grilled in the appetizer. The view/ambience is available in at least a hundred other restaurants in Udaipur. Given the food and service, I would highly discourage visiting the restaurant, especially if it is visible that you are a Muslim.
