This Hotel is now Chandra Niwas, first it used to be a Jasmin Haveli. We stayed here for 3 Nights/4 Days in August 2013. It was OFF TIME visit so a heavy bargained and we got Desert View Room for 1000 rs per night with Breakfast. Check In was very smooth, as it was an Off Time perious so just 2-3 rooms were booked, rest whole hotel is vacant. Rooms were very spacious with all modern amenities like TV,AC and the lighting system is quite nice. Though bed sheets were torn, and the blanket is filthy with bad smell, we decided to sleep with our own blankets. Small insects were there beside pillows. Not at all clean pillow covers even. TV was not working even, complained to Mr.Arun regarding the TV problem 3-4 times but everytime in a very polite way we got the same answer "i m calling Cable Person, just give me 15 minutes", but the problem remains the same till 4 days. Bathroom was very spacious with Geyser but while working, Geyser make different noises, which can disturb you (like its gonna blast). Rooftop Restaurant is nice, but the sitting arangement is very dirty and muddy. Cook was on leave, so there was 2 guys to take care of, limited food options at perioud of OFF TIME. Only Veg food is available here, for Non-Veg they can arrange food from nearby Fifu Hotel. It was overall a nice hotel afterall we visited in Off Season, but Mr.Arun is very humble and polite and offered us a waiting room after our check out at 12 (as our train was at 5pm). Overall Nice Hotel but...
Read moreWe have been in India a week and a half now, and this has been our favourite hotel so far - we were gutted to only be staying one night! |We arrived at 6am after travelling on the night train. As it was so early, the hotel was closed. However the receptionist allowed us to check in at no extra cost and showed us straight to our room. This was hugely appreciated! |The room was very spacious, clean and modern with the comfiest bed we have slept in yet! |The staff are very helpful and friendly, always around for a chat or to give advice on places to visit/restaurants to eat at etc. We spent the evening sat on the lovely rooftop terrace and they provided us with beers and wine. You would see a lovely view of the sunset from here but we weren’t around to see it. |The next night, we went on a camel safari. We were able to leave our bags at the hotel and felt assured that they were in good hands! |The hotel is in a nice location, a short walk (15 minutes) to the fort. The hotel is far enough off the main street that it is easy to have a good nights sleep without the sound of horns beeping all night! ||We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay...
Read moreMy stay at Jaisan Haveli was an absolute disaster. From the start, the hotel overcharged us for their so-called “luxury” rooms, which were anything but luxurious. The photos on their website are completely misleading, and what we got was subpar at best. After a frustrating round of negotiations, we settled on a price that included both breakfast. However, this agreement turned out to be meaningless.
The next morning, we were told we had to pay for the breakfast and it was no longer included. They switched up the terms completely last minute, leaving my family of 15 in a bind. The service during dinner was already awful, but this bait-and-switch tactic was beyond unacceptable. Feeling scammed and insulted, we refused to pay for the breakfast and decided to eat elsewhere.
The food quality was mediocre at best, the service was rude, and the entire experience felt like a scam targeting foreigners. Jaisan Haveli is overpriced, untrustworthy, and entirely disrespectful. I strongly advise anyone, especially travelers from abroad, to avoid this hotel at all costs. Save your money and dignity and find a place that...
