Fifu, his son Anirudh and his nephew Antriksh are a nice bunch of people to talk to and have lots of information on Jaisalmer. They are also very helpful and gave us an early check-in. The hotel is neat and clean. However, when it comes to execution the hotel falls short. What I am going to mention are addressable problems and can be sorted out with better processes in place. I have two instances of inconvenience during my stay there. There is a pick up service by the hotel and I had asked for it as we were reaching early morning and I didn't want to go searching for it with my family by my side. Despite a few emails and phone calls with Anirudh over 6 days prior to arrival including a phone call evening before, I had to call him up several times after reaching and spend a harrowing time waiting for the pick up. Anirudh had mentioned he will share the phone number of the driver in the evening itself but it never happened. This could have been easily managed better. The hotel has a backup which has to be switched on manually. Jaisalmer can be torrid even in October (around 40°C) and a power cut for 30 mins can leave you dripping in sweat. At night, there were 2 power cuts and I had to go wake up the hotel staff to start the genie. Since the intercom never worked, I had to get down the staircase twice in the middle of the night to do this. Food is good but for the room tariff, exclusive of breakfast, it's not...

However the location is very dusty.||Rooms are bit small comapred to what they are charging,. If two adults and one child goes in the room it may feel a bit congested. Bathrooms very small, almost no space for changing clothes.
