Update: Now, the late afternoon the day after dinner at this place, both my husband and me are sick with food poisoning...

My original review: We've had dinner at this place. It seemed like a cute place, a little quirky maybe, but the food was delicious and the view was great. The problems started a few hours later though: My husband suffered from food poisoning all night and morning after. We hadn't had any food for around 8 hours before that dinner, so we are sure the Jaisalmer Thali was at fault... 😣 I had the cashew curry, didn't feel as bad as my husband, but not 100 % well either. We've been travelling in India for over a week now and have been eating at similar places, but this bad experience was a first... So...

I have been eating out in the Jaisalmere Oasis Restuarant regularly in my 10 Day stay here. I can recommend both the swift friendly service and all the authentic cuisine. I especially like the Rajisthani Thali and all the curry dishes I tried. If you fancy just a good old fried egg on toast for breakfast they are happy to accomodate you and you can specify your spicing requirement. Post Covid 19 review: Behind the Jain temples and after crossing cute narrow roads you will reach few of the restaurants in line among them is Oasis restaurant. It is on the third floor of the guest house/ residence. Food quality is between awesome and normal (chapatis and veg dish were good and dal was normal).Only point of contention was waiting time post order placement.
