Jasmin Home definitely deserves 5 Star rating. We stayed with younger kids at Jasmin Home from 17th to 21st November 2023. It was a very pleasant and memorable experience. Kids loved the place a lot. Rooms are exactly how they look like in the pictures. The Super Deluxe room with balcony and the Maharani suite are equally good. We felt welcomed with the refreshing room freshner fragrance just entering the room. Noticing how well the room was decorated and maintained, we were awestruck. The washroom was properly cleaned and looked very hygenic. The staff here is very polite and well mannered. Jasmin Home has a rooftop restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating area. You can view the Jaisalmer fort while dinning outdoors. They served non spicy yet tasty food for kids as per the demand. The hotelmservice is very fast. Owner Jeetuji is very considerate about the customers and always offered best recommendations for the guests. He arranged a very knowledgeable guide for us for city tour. We visited Gadisar lake, Patwa Haveli, Nathumal Haveli, Jaisalmer fort with peaceful cup of tea at Sunset cafe on the fort. Also we booked Desert tent stay with Jasmin Home with camel ride alongwith transportation. On our way to the desert tent stay we visited Jaisalmer War Museum, Kuldhara and Amar Sagar Jain temple. The Desert tent stay was very comfortable. We could enjoy the sunset and sunrise as well from just outside the tent. The staff there was very cooperative. They arranged drinking hot water for kids within no time when requested. The camel ride at sunset in the sand dunes was just awesome. The cultural show at the tent stay was authentic classical Rajasthani which we really enjoyed. Dinner served there included Rajasthani veg food - Ker Saingri sabji, gatta curry, dal, roti and churma. Next day breakfast of Poha, sandwiches and poori sabji was very tasty. Jeetuji arranged tour to the Indo Pak border including visit to Tanot Rai Mata temple and Laungewala War memorial. These places are must visit for every Indian. At Tanot Mata temple and at Laungewala War memorial there is a video documentary show about the war and showcases bravery of Indian Army. During all of our tours arranged by Jeetuji not a single penny was demanded by any of the agencies. There were no hidden charges. On day of our departure, Jeetuji was very generous to arrange Jaisalmer's famous kachori for breakfast early morning!! Overall stay at Jasmin Home was very comfortable and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this place for stay in Jaisalmer, especially for...
Read moreJasmin Home is nicely decorated giving authentic Rajasthani experience. We booked 2x Double Deluxe Superior balcony. We were given room number 6 &7. Room 7 was little bigger than room number 6. Both rooms were well maintained and had a heater which was needed in the cold month of January. Room size was adequate for 2 adults. I used jarokha - (sitting area near the window) to put my suitcase. ||They also have laundry facilities at a reasonable rate. ||Shower had 3 options - bucket, handheld shower and rain shower. It was simple to change the settings however water pressure was little low but adequate. There are other amenities like tooth brush, shampoo, body wash and also hand wash in pump bottles. ||Emergency lights installed in bathrooms and other important areas helped us during power cuts. ||Breakfast was made to order from a selected breakfast menu. They canât make any other items, even if youâre willing to pay for it because they have to cater other guests which was understandable. ||Devendra was helpful in getting rickshaw and giving information about surrounding areas. Jitendra also arranged sunset & dinner safari with Helsinki desert camp. It was isolated from other camps and little away from sand dunes which was good. From camp we went in Jeep to sand dunes which was a bumpy ride. We left our backpack in the car at the campsite but I suggest to take it with you because my phone slipped out of my pocket during the bumpy ride. Also, this ride may not be suitable for elderly or pregnant women. There was an additional cost to travel to camp site from Jasmin Home which was worth it because we also visited Amar Sagar Jain temple and Khaba fort and had car to ourselves during our trip to and from Jasmin Home. ||Overall, the stay was comfortable and weâre happy with all the arrangements made by Jitendra and his team. I wouldnât...
Read moreWe had a very memorable and comfortable stay at Jasmin Home for three nights, about two weeks ago. We stayed in the Maharani suite and the room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The double bed was very comfortable. My son and daughter (both young adults) found the window seats with curtains very cosy and sort of a private niche. The extra bed for my son was in the form of a mattress put into the longer window seat, and he loved it. He thoroughly enjoyed looking at the lightning and thunder at night out of his window bed. Though this mattress was a bit narrow and may not have been suitable for a big person, it was fine for him, being a skinny person. Bathroom was very clean and comfortable. Quality of room and bathroom was no less than a five star hotel. The only minor issue was that during an hours power cut in the morning 7:30 to 8:30 (by the local authorities), water could not be heated. But it was not much of a problem as one could easily work things around this hour. Breakfast was good. Hotel staff made it fresh and it worked out the best if we informed the staff of our choice sometime in advance, giving them time to prepare, while we got ready. The hotel team easily accommodated our request of having a late breakfast on our third day as we wanted to sleep till late that day. There was a homely feel to this hotel, with very comfortable facilities. Staff gave personal attention to our needs and were very helpful. Jitendra ji, provided a very good guide, Lalit ji for us for the fort. Also, the desert safari arranged by the hotel, which was to a private dune was very good. This hotel is at a convenient location, a short trip by tuk tuk to the fort and the lake gadisar. It is a quiet small street with many little hotels, away from the noise of town and one gets a good view from rooftop. I would certainly...
