Room service boys just try to enter your room no matter you say no or any thing I and my wife had to sleep with a chair barged into the door so that it doesn't easily open.. Not at all safe for women

2 . I had asked for their best room the room with prepayment because I had to catch a flight early morning. 1st day they said very politelythere will be no problem during the check out.. 2nd day i still paid for both days as i had meintioned we have a flight to catch they took the payment in full with tax. At the time of check out they first demanded 2+thousand extra in the name of tax and later agreed on Rs 560 cash i was getting late or I wouldn't had paid a penny.. Very wrong attitude towards guests they just want to take as much money as possible. On the first day when I went to attend a marriage i forgot my room keys at the venue when I came back and i requested very politely to the person at the front desk And told him that i will get the keys later He told me to pay 3000 for the lost key charges and later reduced it to 2500 + Room charges for the stay Again i had to argue and argue but very reluctantly he agreed.. that they will use the master key to open but no card to tun lights on i had to manage I had to leave again to attend the function So i requested them to please get my room locked as all my luggage is inside he smiled and agreed but to my shock when I came back room was unloced and open.. They don't care for safety of your luggage and valuables Next morning the room service rang the doorbell and in like 3-4 sec just enters the room by using another key . I was changing my clothes that time when i asked him don't you guys wait ,he smiled an said i thaught that no one was in the room.. And this happend again once it can be a mistake but why again the same way.

There was a guy who carried my luggage was the nicest person when i tipped him a little . The guard was all over him to get it shared or wanted me to pay him also.

If you own a car or rent a cab if the guard dosent allows it to be parked in front of the gate And in less than 5 min you will get a challan/fine for no parking by the police.. There is a big beggar problem in the area you wait outside for like a minute beggars will surround you and touch you it feels very bad. I visited Hyderabad on 22 March 2019 with family. We stayed at Hotel Hyderabad Grand in Shamshabad. The stay in the hotel give extremely satisfactory feelings due to its well maintenance, nice ambience, clean toilet, regular room cleaning, and of course good quality food in its restaurant named “The Grand Zaayeqa” (Opening time: Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 11:00pm and Friday to Sunday from 7:30am to 1:00 am) and also its mind blowing “Hotch Potch” Ice Cream Parlour. The location of this hotel is near airport (15 minutes distance in cab). If you love to eat good food stay in this hotel because three famous food counter is very near (just within 5minutes walking) : i) Paradise Restaurant (One of the best Hyderabadi Biryani and also try Fruit Punch in the dessert), ii) Karachi Bakery (when you are in this city must try their various range of biscuits and cakes) and iii) G. Pulla Reddy Sweets ( Famous for paper sweet). Flight pack for Biryani is also available in Paradise Restaurant which will stay good for 10 hours. Hyderabad, is the city of Nababs with many historical places to visit. The city is very clean and organized. For local sightseeing take cab (Uber or Ola) or auto. Both the services are nice and you need not to bargain since they will ask for fair price only. The places we visited are given below with approximate price of cab fare and tickets (ticket price based on Indian citizen) of the tourist spots: N.B. Had a 15 day stay here in June 2023 due to my posting but it's not a good hotel for long stay. This is an average 3-star hotel with great accessibility to the airport but if you need to go to engineering building area you'll struggle like hell to get the transport. Not Good for the people who work at the airport in the engineering department.

Rooms are good and well maintained. Staff is courteous. I had a package of breakfast and 1 major meal included with complementary laundry service however the laundry service is ineffective. Rooms have everything you need and backside rooms have view of the lake but also a graveyard which makes it scary. You'll get towels, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, shaving kit, slippers, moisturizer, soap and shampoo, so don't need to carry anything. Water bottles are given every day and water kettle is there for making tea and coffee. Small fridge is also kept. There is no locker though but huge cupboards to fit your stuff. Gym facility is also available.

There are plenty of good food joint nearby and shamshad market is also there. But transgender and beggars are always lined up to harrass you. Hotel doesn't pay a heed to them.

Food options for vegetarians are limited + monotonous and they must improve the hygiene at the eating area.

Overall it's recommended for a stay only for 1-3 days beyond this look for another hotel especially if you're on...
