Hotel Ruby Palace — Hotel in Tiruchirappalli

Rooms are good enough. Looks recently renovated. However it's very pathetic with the service. I reached the hotel around 9pm on a Saturday evening and was welcomed by a fully drunk person to park the car. I was shocked when he offered me valet service which I politely denied. While checking in they said Coffee tea service will be available in the morning from 5 am. But when called for room service in the morning no one was answering even until 6.30 including reception. I had to go down to figure out that reception guy is not even awake by then. With the help of security I tried to wake him up but even then he doesn't seem to care. I literally walked inside the kitchen and spoke with the chef to arrange coffee for my family. One good thing is, hot water was available 24 hrs. 2 days before we are staying in this hotel business suite room. We are coming here for second time. I'm not recommended this hotel those who are bringing naughty child. My son broke the light. Yes I agree it's our fault. But they charge full cost ie Rs. 4000. They are not even consider about customers whether they have to come again or not. Nearly 15,000 and above we have spent in that hotel in just 2 days. I'm not telling them not to charge any amount for breaking but they didn't have to get the full amount from customer side itself. If you are having hyperactive child and want to mingle with society activities don't bring your child to this hotel. Wow!!!! They are the best place to stay. They charge nominal for rooms and the one which we stayed was 2500 rupees per night. The rooms were damn clean and any service for which we reach them they help us a lot. The manager and staffs were very friendly. We nearly booked 15 rooms for our function so the way they treated the guest hats off. We enjoyed our stay so much cause it is worth the penny we pay. The owner of the hotel is also very courteous and helpful. The food is also very tasty both veg and non veg. Romali roti was so soft and all panner dishes were extraordinary in taste.
