I recently stayed here and had a memorable experience. The positives far outweighed the negatives, making it a unique and enjoyable stay.

Negatives:

Costlier Option: The stay was a bit pricier compared to other options, but the exceptional music session made it worth the expense.

Construction Disturbance: Ongoing construction in the surroundings was a downside, affecting the overall tranquility.

Limited Views: The absence of a river view and obstruction of mountain views by neighboring buildings were minor drawbacks.

I booked 4 nights of accommodation through booking for a king room with mountain view for 1900 rupees a night. When we arrived there to check in the owner had to be called and he wanted to change the price to 2500 because it was a public holiday. In the end we agreed on 2200 and we would get a complimentary chai and some snacks he said. When i asked the next morning for a chai i was treated in a really rude way. The next day i didn’t even want to bother to get a chai and these ‘snacks’ where also not offered to us. The check out was at 11 in the morning but at 9.30 they where already knocking on my door. I was still in bed and told them that now is not a good time. Then another guy that manages the place came to knock on my door even harder. They wanted to show the room to another guest that was checking in later that day and they told me multiple times to open the door and they kept banging on my door. Then they came to check every 10 minutes if we checked out already and kept checking on us while we where packing our bags while it was 10.15 … we told them multiple times we will be ready before the check out time and even a friend that speaks the language talked with them on the phone so there was no misunderstanding about what time the check out was. Which was 11. Also they keep two cows in their garden on an extremely short leash and i know its so common in india but this still broke my heart to see these cows everyday not even able to...

Terrible Experience – Avoid this Property and Host

We had booked a triple bedroom through [Booking.com. The booking was accepted and confirmed online. However, when we arrived, the owner flatly denied us entry unless we agreed to cancel the online booking and “convert” to an offline deal. To make matters worse, he then offered us a smaller room at the same price.

This is nothing but cheating and arm-twisting tactics. The host is dishonest, unprofessional, and shows zero respect for confirmed guests. Even after this incident, he has still not rejected our online booking, and continues to list his property to lure unsuspecting travelers.
