It was our first time in Rishikesh, we stayed at the Aman Hotel. Very cozy hotel, located within walking distance from the main tourist and spiritual places of Rishikesh. The hotel is very quiet, yet you can walk down to the main road of the city in three minutes, buy fresh fruits in the market or have breakfast in a cafe that serves multi-cultural cuisine.
We were very pleased with the price! The hotel is clean and has all the necessary amenities, everything works. The administrator Dev is fluent in English, very communicative and pleasant person! He will give you advice and won't let you get lost in the uncommon city!
There is a cooler with drinking water. The room has the necessary furniture, a clean shower room, a bide, a small mirror, a large number of sockets and lighting points, and just an amazing view of the mountains! You enter the room from a common balcony, overlooking the houses with small southern streets and the whole ridge of the Rishikesh mountains. On the other side of the room, a small balcony awaits you, overlooking the other side of the mountains. This is a very cool solution, you can enjoy panoramic views without leaving your room!
At the top of the hotel there is a yoga hall with fans, lighting, a restroom, panoramic windows and everything you need to practice. I like to see the sunset sitting in this hall.
We were very pleased with the good Internet. We got exiting experience! Definitely stay in this very hotel next...

Read moreHotel Aman is one of the best accommodations to stay in Tapovan, Rishikesh. Very close to the main road, cute cafes and sightseeings. Located in a quiet alley, away from all the noisemakers, you’ll get peaceful sleep!
The room is clean and tidy, with all the amenities needed: private bathroom, hot water, double bed, wardrobe and bedside table. Access to the room through a shared balcony where you can dry your laundry. There’s a massive yoga hall on the top floor for whoever is into practicing or wants to enjoy and awesome mountain view too.
But definitely the best thing about staying in Hotel Aman has been getting to know Dev. He’s the owner and manager of the Hotel, and one of the sweetest souls I ever met. He’s fluent in English and Hindi, and will do anything to make your stay in Rishikesh better, from driving around with his scooter, to help me run errands, to book a tuk tuk for a good price. He was checking with me daily if everything was okay in my room and if I was enjoying my stay. Always with a smile on his face :)
If you are looking for an humble, comfortable and affordable place to stay in Tapovan, Rishikesh you should definitely stay here. Honestly I cannot recommend it enough and I know that I will be back for sure.
