Avoid This Place at All Costs – A Complete Disaster!!

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this place. If you're considering visiting, my advice is a firm NO. Here’s why:

Deceptive Listings & Filthy Rooms - The pictures online are completely misleading. We booked their most premium cottage, but it turned out to be worse than a third-rate hotel. Dirty bedsheets, filthy washroom, and a broken toilet flush made for a shocking first impression.

Pathetic Hospitality & Rude Staff - When we requested them to fix the issues or change the room, the staff ignored us for hours. The new room they provided was equally disgusting, with a broken washroom jet and more cleanliness issues. Exhausted, we gave up arguing and just went to sleep.

Locked in Our Room – Horrifying Experience !! - The next morning, around 10:30 AM, we planned to check out. To our shock, the staff had locked us inside by putting a lock outside the room. The intercom was not working, forcing us to shout for help. It took a long time before the staff finally found the keys and let us out.

Overhyped Restaurant – Not Worth It!! - The restaurant has overrated reviews. If you have a good taste, you’ll hate the food here. Many people, after seeing the reality, leave without dining. The staff is completely disinterested, and the manager sits around, ignoring guests like he doesn’t care.

Unprofessional & Unethical Management - The manager mistreats the female staff, often shouting at them. There were creepy customers making inappropriate comments towards female staff, yet the manager ignored it completely. The owner, if at all aware, should be ashamed of how this place is run.

Final Verdict: A Nightmare Stay. This place is an absolute disgrace. It was one of my worst travel experiences. If you still don’t believe me, visit at your own risk—but be prepared for...

The place is very beautiful with great view. but that is what everyone is falling for.

Specially writing this review because of the attitude of the owner. Very over priced menu. few items were good and few were bad. they will charge you 2-3X the price for alcohol and show you attitude as if doing a favor. The Owner will act as if he owns entire Rishikesh. the place is full of mosquitoes so sitting with short clothes is not recommended.

I was charged extra in the bill and upon raising the issue, the owner showed a attitude as if I was lying. at first they denied but later accepted it and asked me to get something for takeaway to adjust the money. when I asked them to pay my money back, he was making 1000+ faces. don't know why this place is so high in rating. there are many other beautiful cafes to sit and enjoy peacefully.
