HOTEL JP — Hotel in West Bengal

We stayed two nights very peacefully here. The room size, decorations, amenities, bed, toilet, and cleanness were amazing. There was attached big balcony with room. The corridors, stair cases, and lifts are maintained well all time. The housekeeping service were little slow at times but very cordial. Front desk were helpful answering our all queries and suggesting on sightseeing planning. The swimming pool is world class, especially the medium-size slide for kids to ride and slide into water with great fun or play with balls. There are multiple depth zones in pool including a Jacuzzi. Received immediate generator back-up on every time power cuts. Room service were done everyday with towel changes. Parking were available out side in a dedicated zone for the Hotel with Guard all time keeping watch. The location is extremely good. Hotel is just at the beginning of Sea Beach Entrance Zone and shall take 2 minutes to touch your feet into sea water. Being in Sea Market, various restaurants, local stalls, and other shops are just walkable 50-300 meters. There is Auto and Toto stand just outside The Hotel door for booking and plying anywhere. The last but not the least is extremely good food experience at Hotel JP Resort Cuisine. It is so fast service, damn cheap, huge quantity, good oil quality, and so tasty compares to outside. Not eating main meal foods here is definitely a loss of pocket and deprive tastebuds. I would suggest to directly book the rooms calling Helpdesk and negotiate a better rate compared to online websites, may customize some default things in case not needed, and also you may get lower extra tax/charges than...

I would like to clarify that i didn't stay in this hotel. I already booked a hotel and was staying there. In the evening when I was searching for food when i stumbled upon the restaurant of Hotel JP. I loved the ambience of restaurant like anything so I just enquired if it was available to guests not staying in the Hotel JP.. The person i enquired all these was coincidently Mr PRADYUT who happened to be the restaurant manager of the Hotel. He treated and explained everything so nicely to me that I was left with no choice except going there with my entourage of 12 persons.. We had been greeted well and explained many things of the menu. Then we ordered both Veg and non-vegetarian food. They took care of every requirement. The whole process of service and quality of food made our dining experience truly divine. So naturally I asked Mr PRADYUT for next day breakfast. Again his hospitality and humility left me speechless.. Next day we met him and he made us feel very homely and comfortable and we had a very delicious breakfast with plenty of dishes. I would definitely recommend everyone who wishes to have a good experience of food and restaurant at Digha must visit once to Hotel JP.. And last but not the least Mr PRADYUT deserves all the applause and accolades as he is the really a gem of a person for the Hotel..Next time whenever I plan to visit Digha I will definitely see Mr PRADYUT and enjoy his...

One of the worst experience that we had. Would never ever go back to this hotel. We had made our reservations online, and trust me the people onsite just hates any online reservations! It's as if some kind of a conflict going on. I was with a little child and all I had requested was a late check out (Here in North America, they make that provision especially if you are with a little kid). The manager for online booking (Some Mr. Anindyo) was no help at all. And the guys at the reception (well one of them) was so rude, I felt like cancelling the booking and marching to my favorite hotel Sea Coast. I don't understand what kind of timing are these: check in at 2:00 PM and check out at 10:00 AM. By the time kids wake up and finish their breakfast it's already 10:30.....this check-in and check-out timing should be changed. As I said I will never ever go back to this hotel.
