Central Canteen — Restaurant in West Bengal

I had dinner there, the staff was very nice no complaints there. The food arrived quickly and we did not have to wait too long for food. I cannot emphasize how nice the staff was. The atmosphere was just as nice, good lighting and everything. Overall it was a 4/5 experience.

We ordered, Chicken bharta, Basmati Rice, Roti and Chilli chicken. Everything was super nice and very much recommended except the Chilli Chicken. It was just too sweet and you can literally feel the ketchup in the gravy. Maybe ask the waiter to make it less sweet but either way it was not that great. Other than that rest of the items mentioned are definitely recommended. My suggestion if you like spicy then ask for more spicy in Chicken Bharta.

Located near the sea beach...quite neat and clean...quality of food was quite good...I had breakfast nd dinner here nd must appreciate their culinary skills....the alu paratha was quite different from what we generally have...

it was indeed very scrumptious...the dry chilly chicken needs a special note of mention nd the puri sanji was good too...

The only negetive that I faced was the long wait after I placed my order...i had to wait both at breakfast nd dinner almost around 35 mins to get my order..that was quite irksome...

Awesome sea facing spacious restaurant at very cheap cost with meals starting from 50 Rs. Excellent service, accept UPI, cards etc. It gives you proper bill. Breakfast available from 8AM-10:30AM, Meals from 12PM, Snacks from 7PM, Dinner from 8PM to 10PM or sometimes even 10:30PM. It also gives you locker and washroom facility.
