Hotel Sweet Home — Hotel in West Bengal

I stayed with my parents from 6th July till 9th July 2023.

I will NEVER ever stay here while visiting Digha. I strongly recommend to AVOID this hotel.

Reasons: Staff: The behaviour of the manager, named Uttam, is WORST. He has some psychological problem I guess. He doesn't know how to talk to a human being. His attitude is just like a local goon. The most RUDE person I have met. The cleaning and service staffs were well mannered though.

Rooms: Bed was rock hard. Unclean bed sheets, wardrobes and sofa were broken. Bathroom was very drity. Broken taps. There were A/Cs in the room but they were non-functional.

Food: NO food service available. And they don't allow to take outside food in the room.

Location: its near the beach but there are much better hotels at much lesser...

Hi, I went to Digha on Oct 2023. The satfs were highly unprofessional and rude, mainly their two managers Prodeep and Utaam. They misbehave with the customers repeatedly on multiple occasions. About the room, the A/C was not working . It was fixed on one temperature and we weren't provided with the remote for A/c. The bed sheets were torn and the room was dirty. There isn't any room service even after repeatedly complaining. Furthermore, to make the condition worse the washroom was infested with insects. Also, room service of coffee or tea isn't available. There is no view of beach from the hotel even though the mangers complain there is . So, it is kind if misleading. In essence, I won't recommend the...

Excellent stay experience. Budget hotel. 550 and 750 Rs category rooms available. Hotel location is very near to the sea. Market very close. Beach just 200 metres above. Restaurant is quite good. Good hotel for family stay. Every room has balcony. Bathroom, room is very clean. Room was sanitised in front of our eyes. Staff is very well behaved. Only con is the price of 20L mineral water jar which costs 120 Rs (actual cost is around 30rs). Remaining all amenities...
