Had one of the worst experience here

My family and I (7people) dined here for dinner on 14/09/25 and from the moment we entered the restaurant we had issues. We had booked a table on Swiggy and they didn't give us a proper place and yet the audacity of the staffs to talk to us rudely when we asked them why wasn't it prepared before.

Then one of the most shocking things we found today was unwashed glasses. I had drunk a glass of coke and I wanted another one and when I ordered the waiter had taken away only my glass and I didn't notice it was gone until my aunt mentioned it, I looked around the table and noticed that both my cousins drinks were done too but the glasses weren't taken away. I asked the waiter if he could just give me the coke in the tin and he mentioned that they will not give it in tin and it will be only served in a glass. I was confused as it's the same thing out in a glass and why the secrecy. When the coke came I was just curious i checked my glass and it was fine but my uncle ordered a coke and to my surprise when the coke came, the glass had my lipstick stain on it and upon questioning the staff they lied to my face saying it was washed. Then one staff mentioned that "No ma'am we wash everything, we washed it with WATER" and when I asked " Then you didn't wash it with soap?" The waiter didn't have any more excuses and another waiter plainly said "Ma'am please check properly, we wash everything" and when i took a picture of the class with flashlight (attached that photo here) it showed the stain clearly and he just apologised. HOW UNHYGIENIC IS THIS PLACE? Imagine getting unwashed glasses and we all keep slipping on it. I'm a woman so my lipstick stain was there but for those who don't wear lipstick how can we find out?

After dealing with all that they served us the mints in which there were only empty packets on it 😐 They don't even clear the trash out and they give us that and the staff was arguing with up non stop and we pay such high amount for such experience. This is unacceptable.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE. IF ANYONE IS GOING FOR A GOOD TIME DONT GO HERE AND GET YOUR MOODS SPOILT. FOOD WAS ALSO TERRIBLE.

I have ordered food multiple times from this restaurant through online food apps, so far no problem. Today, through swiggy, I ordered chicken barbeque and pepper chicken masala, the cost of which is extremely high comparing other similar restaurants. Still, I went with the order as I liked it's authentic taste in my previous orders. This time, to my dismay the delivery was a total disaster. Swiggy delivered it quicker than actual expected time.

Firstly, I received chicken tikka masala instead of chicken pepper masala though bill was prepared for chicken pepper masala. Secondly, the barbeque I received was completely burnt and almost black in colour in all the pieces. I also noticed that they have prepared the barbeque with skin on, which I have never seen before with any standard hotel preparation. .

Now, I guess what could be their business strategy. Probably, while preparing barbeque or tandoori, the worst pieces which are burnt and spoiled are diverted to swiggy and zomato delivery orders because they can't serve these at their dining tables. They never mind your reviews after you pay and eat with dissatisfaction, which you can verify from the extremely negative rating and reviews in recent times for their food in Zomato.

Taste and quality of this place has not changed at all. Went here after almost 2 years and it was just like how it used to be before the pandemic. Same staff, same taste and quality. Their cream soup(of mushroom, of chicken, basically anything) is the best out there. I haven't had any soup that creamier anywhere else. Their grill servings are great to indulge. Out of all their roti options, I love their tandoori naan the most. Panner butter masal was creamier than anywhere else as usual. Finally for dessert, we had rabdi and goli soda. Goli soda was 125 rupees so i would recommend drinking it elsewhere since it's from third parties anyway. Their service is really commendable, such dedicated staff. To end it all, their finger bowls is something we don't find in many restaurants of such scale. Everything came to around 1100. Ambience and punjabi songs in the background has not changed at all during this pandemic break but there are added decorations for Christmas. Their OMR branch Anu's punjabi nation was closed permanently but the guindy branch is fully functional.
