Had one of the worst experiences in this branch. I visit this branch atleast once a week and never have I ever gotten this kind of service from the manager who kept badgering for additional orders every 1 hour. In addition to it, he was constantly mentioning about this strange nee rule in CCDs where the customers have to order atleast once every hour with respect to how many people were dining in a table. I explained to the manager that we weren’t hungry at that particular moment but he kept forcing us to order because we were “occupying the table” and “others order, finish eating and exit soon” - his words exactly. He’s also asking us if we’d just sit around in other restaurants like Sangeetha without placing continuous orders. What kind of a question is this? Does CCD sell coffees for 50-60 rupees like Sangeetha does? Does CCD and Sangeetha have the same business model? Do people go,open their laptops and sit and work for hours in a Sangeetha outlet? This kind of badgering ruined our experience and more importantly he exhibited this behaviour in front of other customers as well, causing unnecessary embarrassment to me and my friends. He was talking as if we were occupying their space during busy hours, disrupting their sales but in reality there were only three or four others in the cafe. We were feeling very forced to order and this kind of behaviour is simply unacceptable. I request the team to look into this and change this. Would have given zero stars if there...
Read moreOne of the worst place to choose as a cafe to sit and chat with friends. I was a regular visitor to this place until there was a management change. The manager keeps asking everyone who comes to the cafe to order. For example: if 5 frnds are going even if we order 4 items he is asking us to order for all 5 members. And keeps changing the rules. First he asked us to order once every 1.5 hrs which is fair enough. Then that became one hr and then he started coming every 30 to 40 min for order which got all of us irritated. When asked why are you changing the rules everytime, he stated try the same with Sangeetha chain of restaurants where they will not allow people sitting for hours together. But that is not a cafe and they will not ask anyone to leave until the customer keeps ordering food. In this CCD the manager was so rude while telling the above statement and do not want us to sit there itself even though we give business for atleast 5 to 6k per month whereas no one else were there in the whole store except the people who came for interview. Even while leaving the manager stood in the entrance and kept starring at us as if he wants us to leave immediately. This might be one of the reason cafe coffee day is closing many of their outlets in the past 3 years. Overall, a worst place to visit with friends. Please try some other cafe's like starbucks where the cost is almost the same and will definitely have a very good...
Read moreI recently visited Cafe Coffee Day, and while the experience was decent, it didn't quite stand out for me. The ambiance was comfortable enough with its typical cozy seating and soft lighting, which provided a nice environment to relax or catch up with friends. However, when it came to the food and drinks, the experience was pretty average.
I tried a couple of their coffee options, and while they were okay, they didn't have the rich flavor or freshness that I was hoping for. The taste was somewhat flat, and it felt like something was missing—maybe a bit of freshness or a more robust coffee profile. The snacks were also fine but nothing to write home about. They were the standard fare you would expect from a chain, lacking any unique flavors or a memorable taste.
The service was efficient, and the staff was polite, but there wasn't anything particularly exceptional about the overall experience. If you're looking for a quick coffee fix and a place to sit and chat, Cafe Coffee Day does the job, but don't expect anything extraordinary in terms of taste or experience. It's a decent spot for a casual visit, but there are certainly better options out there if you're after a more flavorful and memorable...
