OYO 7131 Amrita Inn — Hotel in Zone 7 Ambattur

One of the most disgusting despicable hotel I have experienced thus far. I had a confirmed booking for 25th &26th of this month. This was done thru agoda on line portal, the tarrif was paid online by me. When I reached the property, the manager Mr surya narayanan refused me to check in....reason stated....the booking was done at a very low tariff. Mind you I had booked it thru agoda and had a valid booking confirmation reciept....but this was not accepted by the manager. Instead of sorting the issue himself... He forced me to call oyo who were managing the property When oyo was contacted shockingly they to refused to help me to check in saying the tarrif was too low....no explanation was acceptable too....and the oyo staff was poor in his communication and very blunt had no courtesy ethics Eventually when agoda was contacted they handled the situation in a truly professional manner..unlike the property manager and the oyo customer care Within 15 mins agoda sorted the issue...taking care I did not have to pay anything extra I think oyo and the hotel management of Amrita Inn need to do some serious introspection of their policies and staff standards so that when a valid guest arrives to check in....will not have to face the harrowing experience I faced even though the tarrif was paid before check in.. I would like to make prospective guests aware to avoid checking into Amrita Inn the culprit property...because of their abject insensitivity towards the customer and the very unprofessional staff employed Furthermore more I compliment agoda for their professionalism and hence recommend guests to avail their services for their hotel online...

Worst experience ever! Rooms are good but the managers are cheats! Booked the place for my wedding guests and they called up each of the guests and demanded money during the wedding. Stopped me from going for my own wedding and had to fight to reach the venue on time. Even though No One stayed at 3 rooms(it remained unoccupied) we had to pay and they held guests hostage until we paid for the unoccupied 3 rooms. Need an apology from the owners for the trauma and embarrassment.

Warning to guests: if you plan to book be careful. Do not store valuables in the room and carry your own water. No food or water was available. Had to beg and plead for the room service guys to pour some water in jugs. No breakfast given. Have to ask multiple times before even coffee...

Rooms are good. Restrooms stink so much you should not go in after having food. I cleaned it myself by pouring Lysol still the stink will not go. Linens are dirty and the replacement will also come as dirty. Towels are so dirty that you will puke by seeing them. Room service is too BAD. The workers does not know what is clean and I feel that they should be TRAINED. There are nearby hotels which are way better for 100 to 200...
