We found the rooms to be very comfortable and spacious. The beds were clean and provided a restful sleep. Located in a residential neighborhood, the area was remarkably quiet, contributing to a peaceful atmosphere. The inclusion of amenities such as a fridge and washing machine was greatly appreciated and proved to be extremely helpful during my stay. Furthermore, the washrooms were well-maintained, adding to the overall positive experience.

However, there were a couple of issues that detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay. On one occasion, the room service personnel disrupted our peace, with multiple interruptions, including an instance where they brought a carpenter to fix a door stopper while our baby was asleep, causing unnecessary disturbance. It would be advisable for maintenance tasks to be scheduled when the room is unoccupied to avoid such inconveniences. Another inconvenience was the absence of a table in the bedroom, necessitating a move to the dining room for work purposes. Unfortunately, the dining room lacked air conditioning, making it less than ideal for extended periods of work, despite the satisfactory internet connection.

"Between the Mango Tree" is a one of the best homestay in Chennai that provides a haven of comfort and a homely shrine. The host, Karunya, is very friendly and kind, and she made us feel at home during our stay. The building is an old house that has been converted with care, and we were struck by the Chennai drawings on the passageway that were a sight so rare. The art adorning the walls is a visual treat that enthralls.

The conduit pipes are painted with gold over the white wall and black switchboard, and the drop lights cast a warm and cozy chord. At the first glance, the room was very spacious and immaculately clean, a delightful scene that was a sight for sore eyes. With my child, we felt like we were at home, and the homely breakfast with idly was an inviting tome.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Karunya, who was a host so kind, for making our stay memorable. It was the first property where we had given a positive feedback at the time of check-in itself. We felt the same way when leaving, and we would definitely visit again. A homely place to stay! Felt safe and give any time checkin checkout. Also unlike some homestay there is no restrictions on return time if you are out. Caretakers are pleasant and helpful. Has self sufficient room even if you want to stay for long duration with facilities like in the room washing machine, kitchen cooking vessels in addition to the regulars like refrigerator, TV and AC.

Have to place request for home made lunch n dinner well in advance. The food is also good. Only drawback was breakfast is not available before 9am. I had to leave early for work so had to swiggy my breakfast all the days I was there. However tea...
