KB Marina Park — Hotel in Zone 9 Teynampet

I recently stayed at KB Marina Park located on Walajah Road, Chennai, and overall, my experience was quite pleasant. The manager Moorthy was extremely well-mannered and explained every detail in advance, which made the check-in smooth and hassle-free. We were offered a room at ₹2300 for a full 24-hour stay, which felt like a great deal considering the prime location.

The room was honestly quite small for the price, and basic amenities like a shower kit, handwash, and bathing supplies were not provided—only drinking water was available through room service, which I feel is a drawback they should definitely work on.

However, what balanced out the shortcomings was the excellent location. The hotel is just a short walk from some of Chennai’s iconic spots like Marina Beach, the Jayalalitha and MGR memorials, and Chepauk Stadium. These nearby attractions, along with the sea-facing ambiance, made the stay worthwhile.

I would definitely recommend this place for a short stay, especially if you’re planning to explore the local sights. My stay was comfortable and satisfying. Just a small tip for future visitors: do check the room in person or ask for room pictures before booking, as it helps avoid any misunderstanding...

We checked in on 18 Jul to 22 Jul, we felt the hotel was good and we enjoyed the stay. I have been advised that it is newly launched hotel, believe less then 3 months. Therefore, all the items and condition were extremely good and welcoming. If they would maintain the cleanliness and service, I am confident this place will do well. The most beautiful experience is the staff are extremely good and provide solutions to any request swiftly. Unfortunately, I have forgotten their names but keep up the good job guys. Bravo
