The worst service ever in Anjappar branches. We went to dine, and first of all, the crowd was unorganised and people waiting were not properly given tables and they gave tables to whoever came in and started sitting on their own. When we complained they said there are no favourites or anything and said to sit at an uncleaned table. And the cleaning staff said to sit at another table. But the waiter asked us to sit at a different table. After we sat, whatever we ask they said not available. And said it's due to the crowd. The seat next to us, the person had complained he ordered veg fried rice, and it came as prawn fried rice. The manager was irresponsible and said he will bring another veg fried rice, that he will replace him stating he has already billed it. The customer was super unsatisfied and said he will pay it and leave. Seeing all this, we decided to leave, as the management here is the worst I have ever seen. Un apologising and no sense of responsibility for what they have done.

I had one plain Biryani, they gave a very old food to me it was a frozen biryani, re cooked , the food here are contaminated and they serve very old food , I would not suggest children or a anyone to dine in here , this restaurant will lead the customers to food posining, the staffs are very unhygienic , and the environment and cleanliness is not there , I got up half way from eating and I went out of the restaurant, I would really request the food safety authority to have a visit to this restaurant, this review is for triplicane anjappar near chepak ,

CHICKEN BIRIYANI with a hard big pieces of chicken did miss everything what it should have. Spice, salt, masala whatever u name it. Bad one. MUTTON CHUKKA was good but had very little quantity. The favorite from the order was GOBI 65, like a chicken fry it was soft, crisp with no oil content. Made for a very good snacks. Worth quantity too. With Anjappar's fame reducing as years pass by thanks to varied options, I wish some day it would give a comeback to stop those critics. And going by recent experience, a change still is awaited.

My experience at the Anjappar branch in Triplicane after the India vs. England match was extremely disappointing. The food quality was far from acceptable. The parotta was cold and lacked the signature taste I’ve enjoyed at other Anjappar outlets. The chicken gravy tasted off, as if it had been mixed with fish gravy, ruining the flavor completely. The chicken fried rice barely had any chicken in it, making it feel more like plain fried rice.

On top of that, the service was terrible. When I asked for water, the staff refused to provide regular water and insisted I purchase bottled water instead, justifying it by saying it was “too crowded” and that I should “adjust.” Such behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable, as providing basic drinking water is a standard expectation at any restaurant.

I also requested sauce, but what was served was clearly old and in an amount so small it could barely be called a serving. When I shared my concerns, one of the staff members responded rudely, saying something along the lines of “What do you expect for 20 rupees?” This kind of attitude left a bad impression.

While the manager did come out later to apologize, it felt like a formality rather than a genuine effort to address the issue. No corrective actions were taken, and it seemed like the apology was just to appease me.

This branch appears to take advantage of post-match crowds, knowing that customers have limited dining options at such late hours. However, that doesn’t excuse poor food quality and rude service. Anjappar has built its reputation on quality and customer satisfaction, and this branch does a disservice to...

I had a terrible experience at the Anjappar branch in Triplicane after the India vs. England match. I ordered fried rice, parotta, and chicken gravy, but the quality was disappointing. The food was stale, the parotta wasn’t hot, and it didn’t taste like the authentic Anjappar parotta I’ve had at other branches. To make matters worse, the chicken gravy was a mix of chicken and fish gravy, which completely ruined the taste.

The chicken fried rice barely had any chicken in it, and when I requested water, the staff refused to provide regular water, insisting on buying packaged water instead. They claimed it was a “crowded time” and told me to adjust, which is unacceptable. A basic service like providing water shouldn’t be denied in any hotel.

I also requested sauce, but they served an old, stale sauce in a tiny portion—barely a spoonful. After finishing my meal, I raised my concerns with the staff, but the supplier rudely responded, saying, “With 20 rupees, I can’t build a fort.” This attitude was shocking and unprofessional.

When I stepped out, the manager approached me to apologize and assured me he would warn the staff. However, after he went inside, nothing was done. It felt like they were only trying to console me without taking any real action.

It’s clear this branch takes advantage of cricket audiences. Since matches end late, it’s hard to find alternative dining options, and people adjust out of hunger and exhaustion. This is unacceptable, and Anjappar needs to maintain its standards, even...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ajjnapar Chettinad Restaurant, and it was truly an exquisite experience. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance transported me to the vibrant streets of Chettinad.

The menu boasted an impressive array of Chettinad delicacies, and I decided to start with the aromatic Chicken Chettinad. The flavors were rich and authentic, a true testament to the chef's mastery of Chettinad cuisine. The spices were perfectly balanced, creating a symphony of tastes that left me wanting more.

For the main course, I opted for the Ajjnapar Special Biryani. The fragrant rice, combined with tender pieces of meat, made each mouthful a delightful experience. The biryani was served with a side of flavorful raita, enhancing the overall dining pleasure.

To satisfy my sweet tooth, I indulged in the traditional Chettinad Paal Payasam. The creamy consistency and subtle sweetness were the perfect conclusion to my culinary journey at Ajjnapar Chettinad Restaurant.

The attentive staff and warm hospitality added to the overall charm of the place. Ajjnapar Chettinad Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic Chettinad dining experience. I left with a satisfied palate and a desire to return for more...
