Retanata Homestay — Hotel in Bandung City

The stay at Retanata Homestay was one of the nicest stays during our Indonesia vacation. After our somewhat hopeless and bumpy arrival in Indonesia, we have by chance found this cute homestay. Luckily! Joy, who supported his already somewhat older parents in the management of the hotel has accepted us and helped us with the first correction in Bandung and the Javanese lifestyle very (!!).||Joy took an extremely long time for us - helped us to get scooters at an excellent price directly at the hotel, had great tips on what we could do in the surrounding area and fantastic foodstuffs (Oxtail Soup I can only advise to taste).||The Homestay is quite centrally located, near many fashionoutlets and despite direct access to the main road (s) pleasantly quiet location.|Several rooms have just been renovated, the others are to follow soon. However, also the unrenovated rooms are very pleasant, large and clean.||The (inclusive) breakfast was very tasty: Nasi Goreng, Bami Goreng, toast, etc; Everything freshly...

Me and 2 other friends wat at Retanata Home stay on 1st week of March 2014.||We plan to stay a night and see how the place is... especially the service.||And guess what... we end up stay there 4 nights !!!||||This place rated 2 star on this forum. I would give it a 5 star.||We had a very pleasant stay none the less.||The SERVICE , CLEANLINESS , LANDSCAPING and the AMBIENCE all are plus points.||||The room were quite spacious.||Bed were very comfy.||There's air condition in the room , even it'snot necessary :-)||TV channel is really .... feel like wanna stay in the room the whole day||Staff very friendly & helpful. This is my first time I chose a home stay instead of hotel when traveling . The experiences given is unforgettable one, The room is quite big, very clean and best of all it is quiet and safe there.The owner of Retanata, she is a great lady in her mid 80 if not mistaken,is such a woman with responsibility. She really care for us especially when she knew that I will depart for Jakarta at very early in the morning around 3.3am and she is very concern about my transportation to the railway station.A lot she that she had told me about locals ( not going to write it here) and I am very grateful for her every words.May...
