I just got jolted up to a nightmare about my experience eating at this place. So now cannot sleep might as well punch what I had.
These guys got so much good reviews but my experience was so terrible. Maybe I was just suay that day the kitchen understaffed or something .
Coffee was sibeh bitter, grind was prolly way too fine and over extracted. Couldn’t finish it.
I tried their croissant which I can only describe as one that reminded me of supermarket croissants.
I also tried their pancake with caramel sauce and banana. It was quite unpleasant . The 2 pancakes were 2 fingers thick each, super dense and tough on the outside because of the duration it took to cook through. It was like eating a compressed Sara Lee cake that has been grilled on a pan.
The caramel sauce they used to drown the pancake was badly executed - it separated. So we ended up with 2 pancakes thick and dry , covered in lumpy caramel sauce , oily splotches due to the separation and some slices of banana.
The bad food aside, the staff were very friendly, this cafe has chill vibes and looks very nice, very...

Only thing is air conditioning could have been better. Or better insulation from the sun. Felt a bit hot like in a greenhouse.
All the staff are so friendly. And they seem to have a passion for coffee and cake. Srsly this is underated in running a coffee shop. I’ve ever been answered with a “they don’t pay me enough to do that” but a barista (I asked about latte art - Starbucks@ New York City).
Coffee is normal, not wow but not bad either, the quality I’ve come to expect at any coffee shop. Same quality as Starbucks. I ordered cappuccinos only.
The cakes on the other hand, were awesome. Ask for recommendations. There are even some that are really minimally sweet! Cakes are better than 5/5 :) IMHO better than from Smith café...
