Booked 3 bedroom loft suite with 7 of us. (One being a 4 year old) - extra bed set up in lounge room but we werenโt comfortable having him in supervised with access to balconyโฆ so we used the day bed from loft mattress in bedroom and locked door at night. 7 nights, breakfast included.||PROS :|Kids slide in separate kids pool|Back access gate to awesome warungs spas etc, shuts at 9pm.|Comfy big beds and great pillows |Aircon works well in main bedroom and twin room bedroom |Small cake and happy birthday in bamboo leaves on my sonโs bed on his birthday. |Filtered water machine, fridge, dining table, comfy couch. |Two for one cocktails, mocktails soft drink and beers, 12-8pm and heaps of choices |Bar staff near pool (the men) were friendly and smiling each day|- pool temp always nice enough to get in never cold |-lounges/day beds comfy and always some available||CONS:|-Loft area was extremely hot the entire trip. Had maintenance look at it but was told it was in working order. Was sooo hot the minute you walked upstairs. We asked for a fan to keep upstairs in the end but was almost tempted to move accommodation to another hotel! |Lounge area aircon average. |-Service wasโฆ averageโฆ for Bali! This is my 9th Bali holiday and this hotel had the least friendliest/ welcoming. |Front desk staff not overly friendly one took a phone call while I was in the middle of speaking to them without apologizing or asking if itโs ok to answer while Iโm asking them questions. Breakfast staff (waitresses) didnโt seem happy or lol they want to be there, I felt a hassle asking for ice or more cutlery. |-Late check out super expensive at $30 an hour, ended up moving hotels for our last day for $40 a night as we waited for our flight instead . |-Breakfast service was very disappointing. Barely had our plates cleared and cutlery replaced. Mugs and cups not replaced/topped up often. |Just an instant espresso machine, canโt get proper coffee made for you unless you pay extra. So I had to ask for ice every morning which by the time it came to table was half melted. |There are only 3 large tables for large families so theyโre never available. |The breakfast restaurant is SO hotโฆ every morning I didnโt feel like eating much from being so hot. |The choices of food were underwhelming.. |-camp plans/The kids room looks very different to photos it is quite dark and dreary and disappointing, not much for young kids. Half of it just an open basement looking areaโฆ |-Kids pool slide area needs loungers , th beanbags were awful to sit on |-The workers at the childrenโs spa just were on their phones most of the time. Weโre not very approachable. My son asked for a soft back massage and he said it quite hurt..|-when you walk in after check in to your room the table is set up with plates cutlery etc but thereโs a sign saying to do your own dishes and they wonโt be washing them|-Security at back gate not very friendly or helpful besides hello, did not offer to help us lift a baby stroller up or down stairs. |-balcony has a big cement barrier so if you sit down you canโt actually see anything or enjoy the ambience soโฆ balcony was pointless we didnโt use it at all.|-bathrooms in suite were squeeeezy and small and the doors were so pound to open and close so whoever wakes up first wakes everyone up lol |-there is a sign at security boom gate that says NO online booking taxis which means they do not let you order/ get in go Jek, grab, bluebird etc at the lobbyโฆ we had to stand by the main road with a 4 year oldโฆ what the Fโฆ|Also we had laundry service pickup and deliver our laundry but was only allowed to be left at the security boom gate office near roadโฆ not in the lobby. ||If I felt like talking about my concerns would have made a difference to our stay, I would have, but I felt un important to majority of staff so didnโt botherโฆ |Iโve stayed in many different accommodations in Bali but this hotel just didnโt sit right or impress much at all. ||I wouldnโt stay here again or recommend to families until...

Our first trip to Bali as a family was an unforgettable experience, made even better by our eight-night stay at Prime Plaza Suites Sanur. My husband, our three children, and I stayed in a spacious two-bedroom suite (#3116), which was perfect for usโclean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a family.
One of the most special moments of our stay happened on our second day, which was my daughterโs birthday. To our surprise, the hotel staff knocked on our door, singing Happy Birthday, bringing a chocolate cake, balloons, and a candle for her to blow out. Later in the evening, they returned with a banana split dessert just for her. We never asked how they knew it was her birthday, but it was such a thoughtful and unexpected surprise that made her day (and ours) truly special.
Every day, we would come back to a spotless room with fresh towels, and the air conditioning left on, making it a refreshing retreat after exploring Bali. We started our mornings with breakfast at the Terrace Restaurant, which offered a great mix of food. We loved the made-to-order omelets, while the kids couldn't get enough of the waffles and bacon. If only they had porridge, it would have been perfect for me!
The staff at the resort were exceptionalโalways friendly, welcoming, and smiling. My husband enjoyed the happy hour cocktails from 5 PM, especially since they werenโt watered down like some places back home.
For families, this resort is a paradise! Our kids spent hours in the pools, playing water volleyball and basketball, or going down the waterslide in the second pool. There were plenty of kids' activities, and my daughter even got her hair braided twice with different colors at the resort. We also visited the kids' club and game area, which provided great entertainment for the whole family.
One of our favorite meals was the Margarita pizza with French fries by the pool, and when we didnโt go out for dinner, we dined at the Terrace Restaurant, where I absolutely loved the pork ribs. The resort also had outdoor movie nights, but we always got back too late to catch one.
On our last night, we had the pleasure of meeting the hotel manager, who shared insights about Baliโs history and the resort. She was so kind and welcoming, and itโs clear she does an amazing job managing the place. Before we left, she even sent us a message wishing us a safe trip home and to stay in touch, which was such a thoughtful touch.
Thereโs so much more I could say about our fantastic stay at Prime Plaza Suites Sanur, but Iโll leave it here. If youโre a family looking for the perfect place to stay in Bali, I highly recommend this resortโwe canโt wait...
