Had a great evening in Retro Restaurant. Fantastic Happy Hour offer on Cocktails and beer from 3PM to 8PM. Very friendly and accommodating staff that happily answered all of the questions I had about the menu.

Really enjoyed my Surf&Turf even if the prawns were a little overdone (Or maybe cooked from Frozen?). My steak was cooked to perfection and tasted great but the cut was a little bit tough. My girlfriend had the Chicken Satay which she enjoyed but felt the sauce was a little bland. Overall happy with both meals but certainly some room for improvement.

We also had some Mojito cocktails to take advantage of the happy hour offer but these were made the lazy way unfortunately. In a real mojito the lime and mint leaves need to be crushed together to release the lovely flavours from both. For our cocktails the mint leaf and lime wedges were simply added to the glass as an after thought and then stirred. That being said, getting 6 cocktails for less than €20 I'm not sure I can complain!

All in all a good experience with some room for improvement. Would definitely recommend...

I went to dinner this evening and ordered Chicken cordon blue, when I tried to cut into it, I found it tough to cut. I put on my glasses for a better look at what I was cutting and the chicken was raw inside. I immediately called over the waitress and she looked at the uncooked chicken and took it away, she then came back over and asked if there was something else I wanted. I told her no and that I was very disappointed to be served uncooked chicken… asked her for my bill for the bottle of water I ordered, you would have thought they would have said don’t worry about the bottle of water, the staff made sure I paid for a bottle of water before I left the restaurant… the manager never came over to apologize for being served uncooked chicken… totally unexceptionable and completely unprofessional for an eating establishment…I will not ever step foot in that restaurant again. Very disappointing…I do not recommend this...

Used to be a regular and ordered there several times a week for the last 1.5 years. So the food was obviously good most of the time.

Recently the quality has changed. Portions are getting smaller, orders are delivered incomplete.

If I order a salad with cheese, I expect a salad with cheese. When there is usually a whole chicken breast, I do not expect to get three tiny pieces of chicken. If the salad is advertised with bacon, I expect bacon. And yes, regular customers will notice if you reduce the number of potato wedges by one.

If you're sold out, don't take the order. I pay the same price, you deliver the same. It's as simple as that, isn't it?

Before writing this review I tried to contact them via WhatsApp to sort this out without writing a negative review, but they don't seem to be interested in feedback and didn't even reply after 4 days.
