Hotel 88 Blok M — Hotel in Jakarta

I recently stayed at an 88 Blok M hotel that offers great value for money. It's conveniently located just steps away from a mall and within walking distance to the MRT station, making it easy to explore the area. The neighborhood is vibrant, filled with cafes and restaurants that are perfect for dining out.

The room was decent, with a comfy bed, but I did find it a bit lacking—there was no hair iron available, which was a bit inconvenient. As for breakfast, it wasn’t the best, so I'd recommend checking out local spots for a better meal.

One of the positives was the option to leave my luggage at the lobby if I arrived early or had a late flight. This made my travel experience much easier. Overall, if you're looking for a budget-friendly place in a convenient location, this hotel could be a good option, but keep your expectations in check regarding breakfast...

The hotel staff knows little to no English. On the first day of the stay, I inform them that the air-conditioning was not cooling the room. The staffs checked and asked me to stay in the room and wait for 10 minutes. I waited for 20 minutes, and received no feedback on the issue. I tried calling the reception again and the staff once again told me to wait for another 10 minutes. After waiting again for 15 minutes, no one turn up at my room to resolve the issue. I had to personally go down to the reception desk to ask for help before the technicians finally appeared to inform me that they have fixed the air-conditioning. They had me waiting in the room for more than an hour to...

1st time here, got a city view room but no breakfast, pay the charge n tasted it, it was good for 3star hotels.

2nd time here, took the breakfast include but got no city view, n if I wanna get some city view they charged almost half the hotel price... Wow.... I'd rather pay for breakfast but have city view than no city view but with breakfast.....

Rooms quite spacious, water runs fine, TV channels quite good enough, too bad there's no free parking. Quite good, but still like I said above, I'd rather add city view...
