Taman Langsat is a serene and tranquil oasis in the bustling city of Jakarta. The park is well-maintained and offers a peaceful escape from the chaos of the city. The greenery is lush and abundant, and the park is a perfect spot for jogging, a picnic or a leisurely stroll. I myself, came to do some birdwatching! The birds in urban Jakarta loves to wander here as there are many canopied trees to fly around.
You can do some pre-wedding or yearbook photoshoot sessions here, too. However, please remember to always mind your waste, no matter how tiny it is. Here, I saw the tiny metallic paper (pic 2 & 3) probably used as a confetti. There was even an orange peel too. Sure, it rots, but not above the ground :(
Whoever threw parties here, please dispose of your excessive trash responsibly. As I have mentioned, Taman Langsat is an ecosystem consisted of various genus of birds, insects and amphibians. You must've seen geese and rooster too in the park. They may eat those, mistaken it for fallen leaves,...
Read moreLocated in Kebayoran Lama, Langsat park is located very strategically and near Barito Mahakam, and Ayodya park. It's about medium sized, brick roads, plus exercise park and playing ground for kids. It has a river that flows on the middle of the park. It's also has small place to rest(kinda bungalow), and a multifunction building. Sometimes this park is used for small events and also students who are studying here. It's a good place to visit tho. There's multiple places to go after visiting this park that you can go by just walking or using public transportation like taxi or online taxi. Those place of interest are South Jakarta Library, Ayodya Park, Gandaria City mall, or Blok M square. And also, this park is very clean, and that's why I give 5 stars to this park as a good place to visit on...
Read moreI visited Langsat Park on a public holiday, and I was pleased to find it wasn't too crowded. It was a refreshing change of scenery compared to GBK or Hutan Kota. Langsat Park is a great place for a picnic or a leisurely stroll with family or friends. The park is clean and well-maintained. However, I found the path a bit bumpy, which makes it less suitable for jogging.
The park is spacious and offers designated areas for badminton and swings. If you're planning to have a picnic, I recommend arriving early, around 7 or 8 a.m., to secure a nice spot under a tree. The ducks in the park are very friendly; they won't approach you for food unless you feed them first. The only downside for me was that the river had a slight odor. Also, please remember...
