Visited on weekend and lunch time. It was many people but luckily i didn’t have to wait to get a table. The senior (which the highlight of this resto) will greet you once you enter. First, go to the cashier to place your order, they will tell you where you can sit (they have three floors, smoking and non-smoking), and pay. They will deliver your order to your table. As for me, i got third floor (the smoking floor one). The stairs were a little bit steep (must watch out your steps). For food, i just ordered their nasi bali, came with chicken skin, shredded chicken with sambal matah, fried noodle, serundeng (spiced grated coconut), and chili sauce. And added telur balado (spicy egg). The taste was good, really like the homemade style. Their serundeng was not the very sweet type, me likey. The sambal matah itself was really balance with the chicken. Both of sambal matah and chili sauce were not the spicy one. The chicken skins were crispy enough. The portion was quite fair. Telur balado was fine.

Okay, this becomes a long review. Last thing, definitely will comeback to try the other menu,...

Hai kalian para pembaca Google Reviews! Kali ini gw mampir ke Uma Oma di daerah Blok M.

Lokasi : tempatnya agak nyempil, jadi sudah bisa dibayangkan yah kalau kalian mau bawa kendaraan pribadi seperti motor apalagi mobil kudu extra buat cari tempat parkir. Saran gw cari tempat parkir yang nyaman dan aman terus lanjut jalan kaki aja deh, hitung-hitung olahraga😊. Tempat ini deket banget sama Pasaraya dan pintu masuk Terminal Blok M, ada deretan ruko-ruko kecil. Kalau kalian yang suka berpetualang sih pasti udah paham area Blok M itu seperti apa, masih banyak sampah bertebaran di pinggir jalannya.

Begitu sampai di depan Uma Oma kalian akan lihat jejeran kursi untuk kalian yang suka makan di luar sambil merokok, sekalian menikmati orang yang lalu lalang. Pas gw makan pagi sih gak terlalu panas yah, ketutupan pohon sama gedung tapi kalau siang mungkin agak panas sih.

Begitu kalian masuk, kalian akan disambut sama Oma. Beliau biasanya jadi greeter yang buka tutup pintu saat tamu datang. Senyumnya ramah serasa disambut sama nenek sendiri. Interiornya cukup rapi, kalian bisa langsung pesan di kasir dan melihat jejeran makanan yang mau dipesan. Terlihat sekali penataan lantai dasarnya sangat padat, selain yang gw sebutin tadi ada juga meja untuk makan menghadap luar serta tepat di depan deretan makanan yang baru saja matang. Kalau kalian gak nyaman sama traffic orang yang mau pesan yaaa... kalian bisa duduk di luar atau ke lantai atas. Overall atmosfirnya cukup cozy menurut gw.

Makanan Dan Minuman :

Sayangnya Nasi Lengko pesanan gw sold out, padahal penasaran banget mau cobain. Abis kangen banget makan nasi lengko di Jl. Pagongan, Cirebon. Akhirnya gw pesan Nasi Tegal biasa yang pakai telur balado, kalau versi spesialnya dikasih ayam kata mba kasirnya. Gw dan pasangan pesan Nasi Lidah Melawai, Nasi Tegal, Kulit Ayam Goreng, Kopi Kesayangan Oma, serta Es Americano.

Juaranya adalah Kulit Ayam Goreng! Gw suka karena pas aja, gak terlalu crispy, gak terlalu lembek, dan gak bau. Kalau di Nasi Tegalnya so...so lah, serunya banyak isian aja, jadi kalian bisa merasakan banyak tekstur dari si Nasi Tegal. Ada nasi, serundeng, kentang mustofa, tempe tumis gitu (gw ngerasa ada hint petainya gitu deh), juga telur balado.

Lidahnya cukup empuk dan gak bau, tapi soalnya rasa menurut gw lumayan lah yah, bukan yang enak banget tapi bukan yang gak enak banget sampe gak kemakan sama kita. Mungkin gw akan balik lagi buat ngejar Nasi Lengkonya.

Untuk Ice Americano gw cukup suka, segar dan menggunakan kopi varian Arabica . Soalnya pas diseruput ada asem-asem gitu, bahasa kerennya citrusy-lah. Kopi Kesayangan Oma cukup enak, walau gak berasa kopinya. Terus ada rasa-rasa kayu manis yang ngumpet...kerasa...ngumpet. Mungkin nextnya bisa lbh berasa kopi.

Soooo... gw sih suka konsep brandingnya serta pengalaman makan disini. Harga sih terbilang cukup mahal, tapi yaaaa sesekali bolehlah dicoba untuk dapat experience makan yang berbeda. Pelayanan dari staff Uma Oma sih juara menurut gw, semuanya ramah dan menyenangkan, gercep dan cukup on point.
