Coffee Dia - Garden House - Tanjung Duren — Restaurant in Jakarta

Coffee Dia is definitely an aesthetic simple minimalistic cafe that has an outdoor space which is very instagramable. Located around Ciputra Mall, access here is easy, not on the main road. Parking spot are enough, you can park at the side of the cafe . Around 5 cars can fit. Came here during weekend and it is crowded. Almost didn't get a table, unless you don't mind the heat and pollution, you can sit at the other outdoor side which is the less instagramable one.

Tables are many, indoor space actually has many tables but it is fully occupied, very crowded and noisy, so sad cause the place itself is comfy to work and read, definitely don't come here to sit idly or work if it is crowded. Interior are simple but looks aesthetic, clean and comfy. Many variety of tarts and sweet that they offer, and also serves main dish such as pasta. We tried the mango tart (around IDR 45k ish) , refreshing indeed. Tart base crispy delicious, balance the fresh cream and sweet of mango nicely. Most of the tart here are based of fresh cream with different fruits add on it.

Chocolate tart nothing special though, in fact, cause most of it chocolate sponge cream tart, all chocolate, kinda make it too much. The cream kinda heavy, sponge also dense.

Lemon madeline (IDR 18k) taste okay though. Sourness balance the sweet okay for taste, and texture of the madeline is not so bad.

We ordered tea (35k ish) and americano. Kinda overprice for drink especially the tea. Well...perhaps I'm the one that is not noticing inflation on the price of drinks.

Overall, it is a nice experience here. Sadly overcrowded because of the hype perhaps? So I wouldn't come back here in a short time. My fav definitely the madeline. Other tarts...

The perfect encounter between coffee and food

Today I visited a cafe full of surprises, and I can’t help but recommend it to everyone! The atmosphere inside the store is warm and comfortable, making people feel right at home, whether it's a relaxing afternoon or a great place to hang out with friends.

I particularly recommend their tiramisu, which is impeccable both visually and tastefully. It is definitely a must-try!

The food is great but the service needs to be improved. Came here with my dog although we sat outside around the grass area, the staffs insisted that my dog needs to wear pampers due to their new cafe rules. It wasn’t my first time here, obviously we didn’t know such new rules implemented as the previous time we came it wasn’t required. I did not prepare pampers beforehand. Of course, if my dog poop I’ll willing to clean it up and they let us in. While waiting for food, one of the staff (girl with ponytail) was rude to us and rolled her eyes on customer and demanded us to bring the dogs away from grass. I can understand that but there’s no need to roll eyes on us. Girl, please up your attitude if you want to work in service line. That’s your job. We don’t owe you anything like I said we came here before and previously there wasn’t such rules. This girl totally spoil our mood. At least the guy staff is kind and respectful to us which I...
