MAXONE Hotel Kramat Jakarta — Hotel in Jakarta

Clean, comfortable and modern! Everything from the beginning was so easy there. The place is charming, with modern furniture, comfy beds and a really nice bathroom /shower. And the guys at the reception were really kind and helped us a lot. I found Jakarta not that easy - chaotic and taxi drivers were super unreliable and trying to get the most money out of us - terrible feeling of being helpless, which can totally ruin your vacation. Staff at Maxone's reception helped us book a car (Grab and Go Jek are the local "Uber" providers) to get around and also to the airport. This made a huge difference - I think everything would have been so much more stressful without their help. Just behind the hotel there are some side streets with good local food. I can absolutely recommend this hotel! |PS: the best advice I can give you is to buy a local sim card and download the GoJek/ Grab apps - then you can book transportation on your own and those two are super cheap and reliable as everything goes through the app. GoJek has only scooters, Grab has scooters and cars. Hotel is located 2 blocks away from popeyes fast food restaurant which is halal. There is a pastry cafe at outside the lobby with halal logo at the glass door.. Room was clean the room given is a non smoking room located at top floor. The door is not noise proof. The tendencies of people slamming the door is high. I have woken up to slamming of doors several time throughout night and morning. So, not advisable for people to stay here post flight. You wont get a good rest due to noise. Water pressure is okie. There is a shower chair installed in the toilet bearing weight not more than 200kg. Amenities kit placed at the toilet. Bath & Shampoo dispenser at the wall. TV has sufficient channels. The check out time listed is between 12 to 1pm on trip.com but frontdesk staff said it nothing more than 12.30pm if not they will incur charges, another 1 day stay. I arrived late at night so nothing to see. For a night stay maybe ok but for a well rested stay maybe not...

Maxone Kramat is a 3-star hotel from the chain Maxone under Milestone Pacific Hotel Group, located in Pasar Senen area. For commuters, this hotel is close to Gang Sentiong and Kramat Station, and for tourists it close to Pasar Senen Station. It also one building with Gado Gado Boplo Resto and The Harvest Patissier & Chocolatier. Not so much parking space for car and also motorcycle. The parking lot also sharing with The Harvest and Resto too. There is a BNI ATM too. Check in process was quick. Bedroom was ok. Bathroom was fine. There's few spots that need to be cleaned. Booked the room per day through OTA, have told the receptionist staff when checked in, but they always call every morning to check whether I want to extend or not. Please take a note of that. At some situations, sound from outside the room can be heard, even it's not too clear. There's no coffee and tea maker in the room. Overall...
