I visited Sate Khas Senayan Raden Saleh in Jakarta Central for dinner and I was disappointed by the food and the price. The restaurant claims to offer authentic Javanese cuisine, but the dishes I tried were bland and lacked flavor. The sate ayam was dry and tough, the gudeg was mushy and too sweet, and the nasi kuning was cold and greasy. The portions were also small and not satisfying. The bill came to 300,000 rupiah for two people, which I think is very expensive for the quality and quantity of food. The service was slow and unfriendly, and the ambiance was noisy and crowded. This visit I order Tahu Gejrot, Jukut Urap and Nasi Peda Bakar. While other dishes are good, but Nasi Peda, for me, is quiet salty. I have to.netralize the saltiness with Sayur Asem.
