18 Suite Villa Loft Kuta by Amithya Hotels and Resorts — Hotel in Kuta

I was attended by Grace and it was a wonderful experience. The welcome drink - a coconut, was truly lovely as I was pretty tired coming from airport. As I was enquiring about potential upgrades to the other rooms, Grace has graciously let me check out the other villa and this will be registered in my mind if I am returning to Kuta! The location is accessible by walking to the main Jalan Kartika where there are alot of eateries, salon for massage, nails, hair etc. Souvenir shops as well are aplenty here. As for the main shopping enter, it is Kartika Discovery Shopping Center, which is located next to the Discovery Kartika Hotel .

I took a Deluxe Room, which is situation in the main reception building , and there are only 2 rooms .

It is on Level 1 so its not on ground floor, but the staff will help with the luggage. The room was really lovely and I love it! But two things I do not appreciate is

1. Noise coming from the lobby/reception area travelled up to the room ( It was a open space) and 2) The noise from outside i.e. the honking of motorbikes and the motorbikes revving, cars honking and also on the 2nd night of my stay (Thurs night) there was a karaoke that ends before 12am! Bring an ear plug if you are sensitive to the noise!

Another experience I would like to highlight - please clean the sofa and cushion cover as often as can because the time i rested my head on the cushion it smelled musty!! Yicks!

I ordered food and drinks three times during my 2 nights stay - breakfast was not included in my room so i paid IDR 100,000 for either american breakfast or local delights, with coffee/tea , and a fruit juice. Ala Carte food are not too expensive and its not overly spicy, suitable for non spicy food eater.

Swimming pool was clean and I just love the the two waterfall, which served as my shoulder masseur. Lovely to hangout around 10am ish . I was told that it is open 24 hours.

7th 2nd Arrival- Hotel staff speak very little english at all. One coconut drink given at arrival then rushed to room.

8th 2nd Safe battery died can not open.

9th 2nd Entire front door security lock and handle was loose, then entire door handle came off, tried to charge me 175k, I refused to pay said call your manager.

10th 2nd Wooden door infront of safe was held on by one hinge then fell off. Safe would not work AGAIN, stuck open this time.

10th 2nd Fan fell apart in family room.

Everyday. WiFi cuts in and out and makes you resign in constantly, downstairs wifi hardly works at all. Every day.

10th 2nd Almost 24 hours after our front door was changed we got back to our room at 9:30pm and the front door was completely unlocked, opened and closed WITHOUT the pass key just open to EVERYONE anyone could have came in and taken anything for how long.. the entire day we where out?!?!?!?! This is extremely BAD!!!!!! VERY disturbing!

11th 2nd Again door hasn't locked, very annoyed now has been accessible by anyone AGAIN.

15th 2nd Phone in room does not work for anything but room service, I needed to call my bank ASAP as my Visa card is locked, went to front lobby, staff are utter rubbish and don't speak much english at all, front reception lady could NOT figure out how to call anything - absolutely useless and very frustrating, room phone is the same instructions in hotel room guide DO NOT WORK AT ALL.

16th 2nd When trying to leave we asked if we could get our checkout at 5pm as our pickup to the airport was at 5pm with our 7:40pm flight. The rude recieption guy wanted to charge 750'000!!!! $75+

Will never stay again and will never recommend.

stayed at this villa for three nights last few days before Imlek holiday.last year Xmas when i visited kuta,i came here to have a look first,cuz i read some comments,said that the pool not sunny,so i want to make sure of it, and request a more sunny viila,the staff recommended no 6 to me.yes, when i actually stay here,that villa quite sunny. especially around 10 am to 2 pm. after that ,due to the sun position changed, the sunlight might not cover the pool. breakfast here is huge and delicious, there are four packages,namely American, Indonesian,Vegetarian and Healthy, i tried three of them, except Healthy one. i love mie kuah and kiewtiau kuah, they are delicious, quite like Singapore laksa taste. each package consist of juice, coffee or tea and fruits. American packages is big. you can choose from scrambled, sunny side up, omelette and boiled egg, plus many other dishes. i tried floating breakfast twice. it is free of charge,very special experience for me. staffs are helpful, especially a female staff at night shift who suggest me to try floating breakfast. thanks to her. the room is quite big, with aircon,TV, safety box, toiletries. there is a kitchen outside of the room, i didnt use it,only used the fridge to keep my drinks bought outside. a bathtub is also outside of the room,if bathing in it, you can see the pool.a good design.the location is good, close to discovery mall, also along the road you can find many shops,restaurants and convenient shops. very enjoy my villa stay, had a wonderful time here, if have chance again, will come here for sure. highly...
