Angels Bungalow — Hotel in Nusa Penida Subdistrict

I came here, because i had to leave another guesthouse due to them bein fully booked. |They did everything they could to get me a room just as good, for the same price....||So here i am: Angels Bungalow.||The staff was warm & welcoming and did everything they could to make my stay a real pleasure. It’s not hard to become friends with them and trade jokes, culture and learn eachothers language. They were sincerely interested and eager to tell me everything i needed to know about the island. They also loved it if i taught them (pollite/common) words and sentences in my language, so they’d know how to greet me and my fellow countrymen☺️||The breakfast is included with the room and ridiculously big sized & varied, which is a big plus! (For example: You can choose to have a banana pancake, a coffee, a fruitsalad AND a freshly made juice in one go!). And.... it tasted great!||The rooms look great (check pictures), are new, nicely decorated, super clean, smell good, are airconditioned and the queensized beds have a musquito-net: four poster bed-style (which i didn’t have to use btw).|This also goes for the bathroom: new, looks great, clean, smells good aaaaaannnd.... the shower has hot water :)||It’s a fairly new accomodation, so the front yard/garden is still in the making (plants and trees just planted, pieces of wall still visible). However, within a few weeks/months this will be grown and it’ll add to the view, to make this the little piece of paradise it’s intented to be. One of the few, amongst to all the other resorts. Most of them look grey and grimey... this one is not and it’s becoming more colourfull by the day.||Thank you Juli, Juni, Ugi & all the rest...

The most beautiful place and friendliest owner we experienced so far.

Only 10 minutes by car or scooter from the (western) harbour Angels is a super nice and well maintained small place with four really beautiful and perfectly equipped bungalows.

Beds are great and comfy with flawless mosquito nets. You don't have that much places for your stuff but the ground worked well for us though.

The bathroom has a high quality look and feel. The water in the shower doesn't get very warm but wasn't freezing cold also.

AC was new and like the wifi working well.

The owner is the nicest and sweeteet person we've met so far and always trying to fulfill every wish one could have.

Breakfast (which you chose the day before) is served on the small terrace at any time you choose. The property of Angels is quite small but the garden is well groomed with a lot of flowers and colors.

The rented scooter (70k per day) was a very good one (but be really careful while driving. Roads in the southwest are actually horrific. Worse than what you'd expect from the described bad conditions!! And use your horn a lot!).

So we had a fantastic stay and would come back every time. A real gem I would recommend to everybody looking for some...

We had an amazing stay at Angel's bungalow. The rooms are very clean and the furnitures are in a beautifull wood. The breakfast in the morning is very good and We advise you to take the banana pancake and the banana juice (gosh it makes me feel hungry again). ||There is also a few restaurants one street aways along the beach. Our favourite one was the Penida Colada. ||What We loved the most was the staff, which was so welcoming and friendly. If you have any questions, they will propose you a cup of tea or coffee and take great care of you. ||||And this story is worth telling: We took a taxi as We had to take the boat back to Bali. As soon as we arrived at the port, I realised that I forgot my precious book. I was almost crying. But then, a miracle happened! One of the guys of the Angel's bungalow arrived at us with his scooter to bring me back my book. So he did all the way just to give me back the book. So so kind! Faith in humanity is back. ||||So one advise: just go there :). You will never...
